The hotel has no air con(which is stated on the website so I already was aware). The windows don’t open enough to ventilate in a hot London summer. You feel like you can’t breathe in the room. Upon asking reception for a room change they said “it’s all of the rooms”. They had had the courtesy to put a fan in our room before we arrived, however, it was a mere drop in the ocean in terms of impact. Considering there’s no air con, fully in the knowledge of the heat levels during summer year to year, how can they justify the sale of said rooms? I trusted in good faith that because there was no air con that they would have remedied our discomfort with a complimentary drink at the bar to cool down? Or went out there way and acquired fans or cooling mist for guests if it’s just “the way it is” with regards to air con. I now feel under the weather from staying at this hotel. It has made me not want to book with Premier Inn ever again as there’s nothing “premier” about it. There are cheaper hotels with better standards than this. Considering the recent pandemic it’s not fit for purpose. It’s a breeding ground for bacteria and germs without proper ventilation. Room was lacklustre but didn’t care too much as was distracted by the suffocating and inability to sleep. Don’t stay here in summer unless you want to stay in a sweat lodge ! Will be recommending to friends and family not to bother with this company as a result.

Honestly, they should knock down this hotel also it is in great location. I understand it is a budget hotel, however if you pay over £100 a night you expect a bit of decency. Staying in a room where size hardly fit one person, not a couple. Appreciate to be on highest floor, hoping to avoid a street noise which didn’t help at all. Temperature in the room must have been ten degrees more than outside. Unbearable. Not able to open the window fully, noisy fan plus awful smell in the room felt like a prison. Three sleepless night.
Feeling sorry for staff who were friendly and understanding.

Sadly not the best Premier Inn experience. Stayed only one night but as there was no air conditioning in the room it was unbearable. Very hot day and night. An alternative fan was provided but only circulated the warm air. Carpark is £20 (24h). Enjoyed a drink in the bar, which was air conditioned, reasonably priced. Whilst the following morning we had an enjoyable breakfast, the floor was sticky from an accumulation of spilt juice.
The hotel desperately needs a refresh. Not a Premier experience.

To be honest, Premier Inn Hampstead DOES NOT deserve even a 1 star! I’ve stayed in other budget hotels. They may be basic but certainly far superior to this hotel. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life!

The air conditioners don’t work. Upon checking at the reception, I was told that it is stated in their website that there’s no air conditioning in the rooms. They offered me single sheet to cover myself. As staff, they tried their best…thanks to them. I couldn’t open the windows fully either for ventilation. All in all, it sounds like it’s “my fault” for not reading the point on rooms not being air conditioned.

The TV set in the room ought to be sent to Philips museum! It’s the old format & an eyesore to watch high definition programs. For a hotel, that too one situated in London, clinging on to this archaic format is an absolute disgrace!

There is no phone facility in the room! I have to physically go down to the reception area if I have any queries/problems.

Thank God we’re out of this horrible place in 2 days. Normally, I’d have mixed feelings towards the end of my holiday. Here, I’m waiting to check out & get thru to the airport to catch my flight back home. With the sleepless nights at this hotel, I look forward to catching up with my sleep in the airplane.
It’s my first trip to the UK & certainly my last booking with this hotel. Don’t even think of booking this hotel - especially in summer - unless you want to have a sauna experience for free.

This is now basically a self catering three star hotel. You must read the small print on a piece of paper left in the hotel room, which says that there is no room service available unles you ask for it. Despite the fact that there is still a notice in the bathroom that says the towels will be replaced if left in the bath - no mention of the unavailability of room service. When we arrived there was only one set of towels in our double room. When I complained I was told that I had to collect the additional towels from reception when I returned from an evening out. Also note they have changed the swing ticket on the door handle that no longer says please service my room. Due to this very poor service, Premier Inn is no longer our preferred choice of hotel. A B&B would offer far better value.

Having previously stayed in a Premier Inn in Wrexham which I loved, I was looking forward to stay in Hampstead. Unfortunately I was shocked by this one. The rooms was outdated, which we expected after getting a text message that because of the pandemic some things aren't up to standard, but toilet flushing not properly working, fan not working in the bathroom at all, brown fingerprints and stains on bathroom walls, god knows what they were. That's something certainly nothing to do with the pandemic.
The bed gave us the worse back pain ever. It's noisy at night with deliveries between 2pm and 4pm and also one lady in one of the neighbour rooms talking on her phone every single night way after midnight so loud we could hear every single word.

Except one lady in the restaurant the staff weren't attentive at all. Everyone seemed to have given up on customer service.
We had one dinner - we've chosen from the menu in the room, only to be told that the menu is also outdates. burgers it was then as the rest wasn't available. They have been so dry and overpriced. I went upstairs hungry. Breakfast was available, but unfortunately no savory options (not even cheese) on continental. I can't eat cooked breakfast in the morning. My partner had the cooked breakfast, sausages were cooked only from one side, bancon not fully cooked. Fried eggs with partially clear egg whites. It seemed rushed. We had to constantly ask for clean spoons or milk jugs etc.

Unfortunately the whole hotel experience spoiled our London stay a bit and we certainly won't go back to this premier inn again

We took two rooms for a family celebration. After the first night my daughter was scratching, and it was not until the second night that she examined the mattress and found it full of insects. Manager didn’t seem at all surprised and arranged for her to move to another premier inn across town as there were no more rooms available. Unbelievably, even having submitted photos of bites and insects, they refused to reimburse us as if we would be prepared to travel across town in the middle of night on the eve of a family wedding for the sheer fun of it. There was no air conditioning and it was impossible to open the window because of traffic noise. The breakfast was terrible and I’ll never stay in another Premier Inn.

Good location. I had accessible room downstairs. Quiet and spacious but hard to see tv from bed. Awkward angle. Books for sale in are epitome. Limited breakfast offer compared to other PI. Good transport links.
