Good location, very friendly people who are working there (owner and her friend, but also the bartender), the locals are friendly and have interesting interaction and stories with each other. There was a good English breakfast (I ordered the small one). There was easy and secure (cctv) parking available for my motorcycle. There was honestly nothing that I didn’t liked. I would stay here again without any doubt! Thanks Donna, Marc and team!

Really lovely stay. Quaint characterful hotel and rooms. Friendly bar service. Great breakfast. Nachos could do with a bit more love, but I’d only have eaten more :)

Lovely hotel only 20 mins from the ferry port. Friendly staff and nice bar with wood burner and real ale. Off road car park at side. I booked the budget accommodation with shower but no toilet, full ensuite would have been 5*.

Friendly welcome from the manager. Good tea/coffee making stuff and nice complementary biscuits. We stay again when next down that area.
Update
3rd visit with work. Manager has changed, still very helpful. Good choice if breakfast. Biscuits in room with tea and coffee appreciated. Will be staying again if down that way for work.

Stopped over for a few pints, staff were great. Restaurant got full around lunch time, the hotel is situated in a small village so parking may be a difficult. As a local walking to the pub was easier. Both restaurant and toilets very clean, kid friendly as well as pet friendly.

Lovely hotel. Idea location in centre of the village. A pub with a long history and some interesting connections with the surrounding area. An old hotel with sloping floors and slanting walls - pleasantly and charmingly qwirky. Great atmosphere.

Came in here for a spot of lunch and settled for the home made Beef Burger, it arrived in about 20 or so minutes which was ideal to be in and out in under an hour. Unfortunately the burger was stone cold, tasteless and dry. Real let down for the £13 price tag. One redeeming feature was the chips which were perfectly seasoned, light and fluffy. Can’t say I’ll be running back here in a hurry!

Stayed 14.1.23, the room was really clean and looked newly decorated. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and was very generous. There is parking behind the Bugle which was handy. Would recommend and will stay again.
