Travelodge Winchester

Unfortunately I was very disappointed about my stay in the Travelodge because of the following reasons

*The room was not cleaned, especially the bathroom was dirty
* Two towels for three person's and no towel for the bathroom floor (we asked for new towels but they never arrived)
* Dirty bed lines
* No possibility to hang up clothes
* New carpet, unfortunately with a bad chemical smell
* Old and used looking furniture

What was good?

* Water kettle on the room for tea
* The location is right in the centre

I am sorry to say but i would not book the hotel again but of course it depends on your standards.

I wouldn't recommend this travelodge, Travelled up from Cornwall for my brothers University Graduation just over 200 miles to get to the reception to nobody to check us in apart from a 0800 number to call is the last thing you want after travelling... Me and my partner stayed in room 309 and my brother and his partner in room 209. Room 309 had a very dirty Mirror and empty shower soap dispenser in the shower.. Room 209 shower didn't drain which is metioned in many previous reviews and obviously nobody seems to care. Shower and bed was ok but Not worth £90 per room per night for so many issues and nobody at reception to even tell. We Wouldn't stay again, absolutely appalling for such a massive company...

Great location. Friendly staff. Room was not ready at 4.45pm as staff called in sick and they was behind on cleaning rooms Air conditioning not working or coffee machine but close to local amenities. Quiet stay I would use again. There is no parking only disabled outside. Car parks locally are expensive

It was okay the staff here are super friendly but some of the hallways smelt like weed there is no free WiFi here only for 30 minutes bit of a shame, the rooms some of them are a bit nasty around the door and the floor would leave my feet black after getting out the shower (bring shower shoes) but overall it's not a bad place to stay if you want to be close to everything:)

Stayed for two nights. Hotel was in a very good location in the centre of town with walking distance to everything. Good bed and spacious room. Staff were really lovely and took extra care with helping me getting around.

Very easy to book accessible rooms from the app. This Travelodge is in a great central location near the cathedral with disabled parking outside. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our stay was quite good, but some thing have to be better if they want people to come back:
- there was absolutely no room cleaning even if we hang the door tag
- no cleaning in hallway
- room key didn’t work everyday we came back to our room (have to solve these problems at the reception twice a day)
- you can’t open the windows to have a fresh air, you just have an AC

But if you don’t have high expectations it can be good, because the location is perfect and right in the city centre.

Staff amazing.

Room ok.
Plenty of towels, hot water etc.
Nice and quiet.
Handy for centre of town.
Only down side TEA BAGS need a different brand lol
