Staying as we were working about 10miles away. No issues with the Hotel, Room or staff. Restaurant good and now busy again. I did stay in the anix building not the main building, my room was modern, room with shower only. The highlight for me was the great service and cooked breakfast in the mornings. Nothing was too much trouble and the chef would cook your bacon and sausages well done if required. Would I stay here again. YES would I recommend YES. Fuel and McDonald's is walking distance from the hotel. McDonald's drive through is crazy busy so if your in the hotel just walk over. Fuel and convenience store same place.

My husband and I stay here quite often when visiting my elderly parents.
You are always welcomed with a smile.
The rooms are always clean. We love it here, but please note there is no phone signal, but you do have free WIFI so can WhatsApp call people.

first time stay at a premier inn, if they are as good as this one it will not be the last. All the staff were excellent in everyway. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, it had everything you needed including plenty of hooks. The food in the beefeater was superb (evening meal), and the breakfast was too. Service was as good as any, well done to all

The premier Inn itself was fine, no issues. However the breakfast at the Great Oak Beefeater was a let down in so many ways.....staff attitude, lack of choice due to items at self service not being replaced and as for the over greasy full English the less said

Free WiFi in this hotel means WiFi so slow it's unusable. Couldn't even send a simple email. But you can pay for the faster internet??? This is 2022 and there is no excuse for slow internet especially for business customers. Also the room was freezing and I was told to open the windows to let warm air in? Very disappointing.

It might be theoretically located in the South Downs National Park, but it is NOT set amongst the trees. It is in a concrete carpark, opposite a drive in MacDonalds, opposite a petrol filling station and alongside the A3 dual carriageway.
The signage is inaccurate & confusing: it states MAIN ENTRANCE, but this is actually the entrance to the bar/cafe. The reception is hidden round the corner with NO clear signage at all.
It also claims it is "accessible" but all the rooms in the main building where Reception is are ONLY accessible by 2 flights of stairs. There is NO lift.
It has NO phone number. Despite a member of staff telling me there is a direct dial to the hotel, which is shown on the website, there is NO direct dial, just an infuriating call centre which takes HOURS to respond, if the phone is connected at all.
I would give it NO * for these reasons, if I could.

Staff great, room a little tired but fine and clean. Bathroom nice and clean but also a little tired looked. On the whole a good night's sleep.

Booked a room for the night. They offered me I think a room which usually is given for disabled people. Bigger of course but the bathroom was not factional at all. Small basin which for me that made it difficult to use. Wifi when the fast one, was bad
