The Greenway Hotel & Spa

From the moment we walked in through the door we were greeted with a smile and a welcome on reception, where ever you were, bars, restaurant, spa, pool etc the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had 3 course eve meal which was absolutely beautiful, lot of detail to attention, fantastic service, lovely breakfast, afternoon tea. The bedroom was very clean and warm welcoming, beds were very comfortable. Spa treatments also very good, friendly therapists. The gardens were beautiful, plenty places to walk and sit peacefully.

Stayed here for 1 night for my husbands birthday. We decided to stay during the heatwave weekend (bad choice).
The service is great, staff are friendly.
We had afternoon tea, which was delicious and delightful. However they charge extra for top ups, which is surprising as other venues offer 1 free refill of sandwiches without charge.
The 3 course dinner was lovely, food was on point. The room was a great size and bed was really comfortable. Only issue is there is no AC, we were just given one tiny desk fan and it was a horrible night, hot and bothered, we couldn't sleep due to the heat.
The outside grounds are beautiful and very picturesque.
I would recommend the stay was pleasant.
The spa facilities are good, the hot tub needs a clean, it wasn't nice. Gym is a little small but doable. Overall stay was enjoyable.

We booked The Greenway for our wedding and cannot recommend this venue enough. Louise was professional and just organised everything perfectly. Her friendly and pleasant manner makes her a pleasure to work with and no question was ever too much. Having the exclusive use is wonderful, the rooms are spacious, clean and feel so luxurious. We had a wonderful time getting ready and it was amazing to be able to have breakfast with everyone altogether on the Sunday. The food was also exceptional, and all of the guests commented on its quality. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, it gives the feel of a very close knit and happy team.

Attended with friends for a festive spa half day. Was quite busy and no available beds/loungers the entire duration of our visit as all reserved with towels which was a shame, and the outdoor jacuzzi also wasn't working. My therapist Jo did an amazing job and Alex in the dining room serving afternoon tea was efficient, attentive, accommodating and very friendly - an asset to your staff. Overall an enjoyable day but the absence of the jacuzzi and inability to relax on a lounger at all made it less relaxing than we had hoped.

Lovely manor house in an uninspiring village outside of Gloucester/Cheltenham but on the edge of the Cotswolds with great views up into the hills. Charming historic building with some great internal features. A few negatives:

1) we stayed in the lodge - the thermostat was set at 25.5 degrees which is insanity. Guests are not able to change the temperature.
2) the towel rail in the bathroom was so hot it burnt me as I went to get my towel.
3) my poached eggs at breakfast were hard.
4) the bar floor is Lino.
5) the lodge rooms were pretty standard chain-hotel-style.

Very pleasant staff. And points 3 and 4 are minor! Not bad value when we stayed in November.

We stayed in one of the suites just before Christmas, the hotel and rooms are beautifully decorated and very spacious.
The food, dinner and breakfast were both exceptional...
I highly recommend a glass of fizz in the outdoor hot tub (especially under the night sky).
Fabulous service and staff.
My only complaint was that we didn't stay for longer!!

My husband and I visited here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We started at the spa and treated ourselves to a massage by Amy, I had one of the best massages I've ever had! We treated ourselves to some lunch from the lounge menu and then headed up to our room. My first impression of the room was wow! We had a hallway down to the bedroom and the size of the room was massive! The bed was huge and the decor was so modern and clean. The staff really looked after us during our stay, taking into account my husband's dietary requirements. In our room they had supplied us with some fruit, chocolates and a welcome card - this really goes to shows how much the hotel had gone the extra mile during our stay. We had a dinner reservation which was a three course meal, this really didn't disappoint, the ox cheek we had for our main was one of the best meals we ever had!
We made use of the facilities in our room and if I'm honest, the next day we were really sad to leave.
We can't thank you enough for our wonderful stay, I will be recommending friends and family to visit as our experience really was a 10/10.

We had a fabulous time, returning for the first time in a decade since we got engaged there. Excellent food and wine, lovely room and brilliant Spa and pool facilities. Very attentive service from Coleen and the Team, and excellent staff all round. A lovely special place that we will keep returning to.
