Staff were friendly & welcoming. They told us about the breakfast offers & happy hour between 1700-1900 daily. Stella at £2.50 a pint. Bargain. Rooms were clean & tidy as you would expect. Views across the town allowed for people watching. Good location. No parking available on site though. Will be back as a room for the night at £36 is a great deal.

Staff were very polite, welcoming and tried to help out as best as possible, however, the room was really extremely dusty. Even after complaining about the state of the room it was not cleaned very well. The cleaners even left plastic bags on the floor. Overall not a very pleasant experience for someone with dust allergies. We was offered a voucher for some money back but we will not be returning anytime soon.

Newish hotel in the centre of town. Next door to an amazing private cinema and several bars and restaurants. One of the bars offers the use of Nintendo Switches for kids etc!

Communal areas very clean, but carpets in room filthy, socks stained black (only downside)

Staff here were really friendly and we were able to check in early. A 5 minute walk to the shopping centre and a few minutes further to bowling arcade.

Great breakfast in the morning and kids eat free

All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Evening meal was very good value, as was the breakfast. Room was good for the price - had a quite a few useful features.

Center town location make life easier with transport, pharmacies, shops, barber shops, banks and so on just outside of the hotel door.
The burger or pizza and a beer deal is amazing (8.95 £) the pizza is very good thin sourdough crust with your chosen fillings.
The staff is helpful and always smiling.
The hotel is a quite new modern building.

I would like to start off with saying that the customer service was excellent. One person who stood out was Prabin. As soon as we got into the reception, we were greeted by the friendliest smile. He was extremely professional, kind, and any questions that we had were immediately answered. He radiates positivity. The manager was also extremely kind and helpful, we had a late check out and the card decided to stop working on us before we left however the minor problem was swiftly resolved. Five star customer service, will definitely visit again.

I was looking for a late room 8pm at night. I happened to see travel lodge so I popped in . Tried to explain to the member of staff ( if you can say that ) my sister had just passed away 1 hour piror, locally I was in a mess .and needed a room . He said they did have a room but he couldn't give it to me I would have to do it my self on line . He couldn't be bothered to even get off his phone . Then his colleague turned up plonked her self on the chair next to him snd just stared at me . No help what so ever . So I left . Terrible service . The front part of hotel was dirty come on Travel lodge rubbish every where. Dirty glasses .
