Great choice of drinks and friendly staff. The only issue I have is on the day that I was having a drink [ I was not staying in the accommodation just having a drink] they had an event or something booked in the seating area I was sitting in, so I moved away from there and walked to the back of the pub and saw quiet a few tables but they all appear to be for customers who are having food so I just sat outside in the rain in the back patio area of the pub. Obviously food is a big thing for the pub and the accommodation but think there needs to be more seating available for people who just want to have a drink! And I understand that booking out the use of the pub for a gathering or event is money and income but I was originally sitting in the area and felt I had to move because where I was sitting was near the tables that was reserved. Other than that nice and welcoming pub.

Lovely graduation celebration meal. Great location for city centre parking (which is extortionate price - won't do that again). Miller's Arms food excellent, with good vegetarian choices. A small but, no soap in the Gents toilets and no finger bowl for the prawns my husband was peeling .

Truly a friendly lovely pub/hotel in a lovely location a only 5 mins from city centre - walking. Stayed for three comfortable nights there. Would give all staff we came into contact with 10 out of five. Cosy bar good selection of ales and wines etc. The main restaurant menu was hugely disappointing from a dinner point of view - probably OK for lunchtimes. I understand that food is a personal taste thing - but only one item on whole menu seemed a reasonable dinner choice for both my wife and I and that was fish and chips. Big selection of burgers and “small plates” for those who may like them. I’m big part rescued by the specials menu from which I would happily have chosen any of the few dishes. Food well presented and cooked to perfection. I guess the menu is controlled by the Brewery owners - but the should consider that guests staying for a few days feel impelled to look elsewhere for dinner after maybe one at the hotel.
Superb choice of Cooked breakfasts - but no continental breakfast for those who don’t want a cooked breakfast. Cereal choices mostly for children so you end up paying for a full breakfast and having a couple of slices of toast.
Would have loved to have given this place full five stars, the staff and management deserve it. But the restaurant offerings and an impossible to get hot shower, just took the edge off things. Having said that, would happily stay again and would go out for breakfast and ask for a room where the shower may not suffer from being the last on the run

A warm and super friendly staff. Food was fast, fresh and tasty.
It looks like a pub outside but you step into a wonderful restaurant.
Well done to the Manager and all the staff.

Beautiful little rooms with large bathtub. Great Location close to town centre - just a 5min walk from the High Street. A little loud at night with the water running outside but that’s not a problem for people with a tight sleep.

The menu change is absolutely brilliant- food has gone from quite a geneirc pub menu, that was nice enough to something like gastro pub. They must have have appointed a chef to direct the menu instead of what was dictated by a brewery/ chian pub. The tofu dish was delicious - the place smells different, l want to try everything on the menu. Whoever the new chef is, we'll done. And our bill was cheaper than it usually is in the Milers. Keep it up please!

Cozy, comfortable, and close to Canterbury sites and the Canterbury West Station. Stayed here for a few nights while visiting Canterbury. Enjoyed eating in the pub and especially the breakfasts. These are older rooms (freshly painted), as you’d expect, and the real gems are the wonderful and friendly staff. Will stay here again.

Had a late lunch on Sunday with family and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We all went for the 21 day matured beef loin and it was cooked to perfection. The large selection of side vegetables was beautifully cooked. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
