This hotel was fantastic for our family of 4. They made sure we had the adjoining rooms we wanted and there was a decent amount of space for an English hotel. The breakfast bags delivered to your rooms are very handy when you have small children that wake up ready to go. The staff and bar crew were on point. And finally, the location is super easy even with a tube strike.

Form over function. Not a 4-star hotel.

The standard room is unbelievably small - I could barely open my luggage. There is virtually no storage in the room - and the little that there is, is occupied by various useless decorative objects. We had to ask for hand soap, as none was provided in our room. There are no standard amenities you would expect to find at a 4-star hotel (or even 2 and 3 star hotels, to be honest): hand soap, robes, ironing board, lotion, etc. The two outlets that are in the room are hard to find, and require a good deal of acrobatics to access. Only one of the two elevators were working, and was extremely slow. The mattresses are super thin and really uncomfortable. The hotel lobby is almost always filled with non-guests, making it virtually impossible to find a place to sit, at any hour of the day.

Overall, the it's clear that "vibe" of this place takes way more precedence than guest comfort. It's a perfect and unfortunate example of form over function - standard amenities and comforts are sacrificed for the aesthetic. As a designer who appreciates good design, I'll admit that it *looked* very nice - but was extremely uncomfortable and inconvenient at almost every touchpoint.

Really disappointed, especially for what we paid for it. The location is the only saving grace - but with lots of other hotels in that area - I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Such an adorable place! The customer service was great, especially Sepha who helped us plan our trip. The bar/restaurant was convenient and yummy. Close to all major areas/hot spots. And the rooms were cozy and cute!

5 night stay for work and very pleased. Rooms and location, perfect for my needs. In particular the staff was exceptional and why I will be a regular guest. In particular, Eddie at the bar provided excellent service, makes a great Vesper martini, provided good conversation during slow moments (welcomed interactions for a jet lagged guest), and managed harmony with kindness and a smile during crazier nights. Highly recommend.

Drinks only - was a bit disappointed with the service and watery cocktail. Greeted by a lovely host, we were sat in the window and told our order would be taken but no one showed for up to 15 minutes. When we got round to getting some service we ordered two cocktails and the bill. Partners drink was good- mine not so much!
Interior is a great mix of hotel/workspace/relaxation and looks inviting and appealing. Would like to go again but maybe not in a rush when the area has so many good offerings. Saying that, it’s always busy and has a nice vibe.

The hotel is classy, very modern. The rooms are tiny, barely fits the bed in the room with a small bit of room to walk around the bed. The bathroom is a glass door so you best be close enough to your partner to be OK about bodily functions as it is just like leaving the door open. Not enough plugs for plugging in phones and and could only plug in one USB at a time. The lobby is loud at night and you have to walk through the action to get to the elevator to the rooms. I think this hotel is good for a hip trendy vibe but not is you’re looking for a classic hotel experience.

Went here for cocktails for my birthday and was really surprised at how bad the cocktails were. My partner and I ordered different cocktails and they all tasted watered down and couldn’t taste any of the flavours.
For a 4 star hotel with a lovely bar area I’m shocked at how poor the quality of the drinks were and unfortunately we won’t be returning on this basis.
However the staff were very polite and friendly.

The place didn’t live up to the expectations that I had for it. It was placed nicely with a lot of access to the city . The hotel itself wasn’t so nice though. The rooms were tiny, and I couldn’t even open my luggage coming from the USA. The showers didn’t work very well, and hot water seemed to be a problem. The restaurant was decent, with good food and good time for waiting. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience, but it wasn’t the worst either.
