Stayed here last weekend as was visiting family in the area, wasn’t overly impressed. Tea and coffee facilities weren’t replenished during our stay. Little things like surfaces in the room weren’t cleaned properly, not up to standard for the prices they charge. To top it off the last night we were there me and my partner went to the bar and sat outside. I nipped over the road to the shop and when I came back my partner was being harassed by some guy. The door men were stood less than 10 feet away and they did nothing. He left her alone when I came back but she was upset and called it a night after that. The doormen seemed more interested in their conversation. Having worked in hospitality most of my life there’s so much this hotel could do better but I think in future we’ll be looking elsewhere when we’re down visiting next.

We booked this hotel through a voucher for a couple of days away. When we arrived the hotel room stunk and wasn’t as impressive as advertised. The more we looked around the hotel room the more disappointed we were. There were stains on the floor, dust behind the bed, mould in the bathroom, the side of the bath was coming off, there was green furry mould in the plug hole of the sink and the tv remote was disgusting. The tv was very old and hardly worked. It was not worth the money.

Stayed for a night in the Executive Double Suit. It was absolutely lovely!
Comfortable bed, very very clean sheets & room with a delicious breakfast in the AM. Amazing staff; Manager Chris, Chef Tanya & Dale also the night manager. Smooth and quick booking process.
Would stay again any day!
Thanks guys

A million miles from a 4star hotel. Poor service, continental breakfast. corridor door jammed, so couldn’t get to my room. No one in reception and had to find hotel number off the internet to finally get hold of someone to get me in. “Oh yes, we have had that problem before” is what I was told. Dump of a hotel. Find somewhere else to stay, is my advice

Comfortable room with some nice touches. The earplugs helped block out the music. I was aware of the clubbing so it didnt bother me. I found the bar a little dark in the morning for breakfast. But there was a lot of choice for a continental breakfast.

Close the all amenities and the train station. Hotel was very comfortable. The heating from the air con was a little tricky as kept going onto standby. If staying on a Monday, the restaurant and bar are closed. Parking is available nearby in St Philips Road. Breakfast was included, continental only. Staff were friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic clean stylish hotel. Great location and staff remarkable.
Really impressed with room and bathroom.
I’ve paid double for rooms with less wow factor.
Breakfast was nice, Latte was beautiful!!
I’ll be back and can recommend!

Please note that if you plan to stay there during the weekend, on Saturday night, there is a loud bar downstairs that only closes at 1am. So no sleep until then. The room was large, clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just ok. The staff was very nice and friendly.
