Lovely old building which has been well maintained by the current owners. We stayed in the Mews section rather than the main house which was a bit disappointing but the room was fine; large and comfortable but without the character of the main house. Good price for the room however.

Nice breakfast but the evening meal was really disappointing with the main course being burnt on one of our dishes and no apologies when this was pointed out.

Stay here but eat somewhere else.

Went there last night as wedding anniversary treat. The manager (we think he is the manager) was rude, but we want to think he was just stressed. A lovely young lady took over and she was very friendly and helpful. The room (and most of the carpets at the hotel) had stains, and so had the bathroom; water marks in the ceiling, shower head with limescale, etc. Since covid we feel that the hotel quality has gone down. What a shame.

The rooms were spacious, well appointed and very clean. The grounds were fairly extensive with gardens to walk around. The evening meal was good but the menu was fairly limited. The breakfast was excellent with a cooked breakfast including tea and coffee served to the table. Unfortunately for us there was a large party staying for some sort of conference which was quite noisy with people talking outside at 1.30 in the morning and again at 3.00 in the morning with somebody talking quite loudly on the phone outside.

I have this last week stayed at the Wood Norton for the second time and I cannot fault it. The hotel is beautiful and the suite we stayed in was gorgeous and pure luxury. Breakfast is excellent with a load of choice all of a very high standard and the restaurant menu for dinner was delicious. Service is fab with a special thanks to Paige the manager who made sure our stay was just as we wished. Cant wait to come back again in the future.

The room was OK but tired could do with redecorating. There were stains on the floor and ceiling which you don't expect for a pricey hotel. When we arrived one of the managers was rude and impatient at check in but the rest of the staff were fine

Sarah who greeted us at front of house is an absolute gem. Such a lovely, friendly & polite welcome from her, one of the best we’ve ever had.We stayed once again in the Balcony Suite with its grand wood panelling it’s a must for any stay there. Sarah & the reception team went over & above to make my husband’s birthday great, we’ve been before & will most definitely return. A BIG thank you to them.

Stayed here recently on a work trip. This is lovely hotel with a very interesting history. Rooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable, the staff are warm and friendly and breakfast was great. Would stay here again.

We stopped for a Christmas party, held in the Orangery. The main building is lovely with wood panelled rooms. Staff worked really hard to make guests feel comfortable including clearing snow from the car park. Well worth a visit, we will be back Summer.
