The best Premier Inn I have stayed in!

Firstly and foremost, the staff seem effortlessly happy. Their service is fantastic. A great menu in the restaurant and cooked and presented to perfection. The room is clean and spacious. Overall you easily believe you're in a 5 star hotel, but actually it was really reasonable for a London Borough.

I'm back in a few weeks and will only be back here!

The location of this premier inn was a little difficult to work out as a wheelchair user not able to use the directions listed in the site (large staircase) but once we worked out where we were going for step-free access it was fine. The hotel itself was very accessible for those with mobility difficulties. Check-in was quick and professional with a staff member behind the desk. I was asked if id need any help evacuating in a fire (I would) but nothing else was mentioned re that point. Turning the lights on etc wasnt explained but we found out how to activate the room eventually. Check-out was simply leaving our key in a plastic box. No staff were visible upon check-out.

Our room was 1st floor, located right in front of the main, heavy entry door to and from the stairs and lifts. This was pretty noisy sadly with slamming through the night. We also had a constant blow of air being pumped into the room (as the windows are sealed shut), a separate thing to the air conditioning, which again sadly was disturbing all night. Two flickering lights (one in the bedroom, one in the bathroom), browning stains on the ceiling and paint peeling off the walls by the bathroom made for a bit of a drab vibe overall. The room was a nice size to accommodate my wheelchair and the lowered bath was really great.

The breakfast we'd paid for in advance was disappointing. No vegetarian options were available in the English self service breakfast buffet as advertised on the site and menu. After finding a member of staff and them going through the food stock, we had to request the exact amount of sausages to be cooked (rather than help ourselves) and they could only find one rasher of 'bacon' (shown in photo) in the kitchens. We got a refund for this the next day and the staff member was very apologetic.

As we were only staying one day we've chalked it all down to a bit of an unlucky/rubbish experience but I'm not sure I'd be back again.

Great nights sleep here. Breakfast was the best I have had for ages. Everything really hot and looked freshly cooked. Car park is under the hotel and the charges are reduced when you stay. You need to get the ticket validated by the desk staff to £5 when you leave or the charge is £20. Staff are really helpful, very polite and friendly. What more could you ask for.

My wife and I lived in this hotel for some four months while we were waiting for our rented flat. The hotel is nice and clean but quite expensive. Breakfast is not automatically included. The staff are generally helpful. The location is good, with everything necessary 5-10 minutes away, including transport, restaurants and the street market for fruit and vegetables, as well as The Glades shopping mall.

As for the staff, Szilvia Nagy was outstanding. Whenever any kind of problem arose, she was always able to solve it - something that did not, unfortunately, apply to everyone working there. For example, when we found it hard to book for several Saturdays, Szilvia always managed to find a room for us. If we stayed in our room for several days, she would come up to see if everything was OK and if we needed anything, even though we had not called her. If we wanted the hotel to cook us a meal in the evening, she told us to phone the order down. She would then phone us back to say when the meal was ready.

When my wife was not feeling too well at 11pm one night, when her shift had finished, she carried a couple of chairs outside for us to sit on, even though we had not asked her to do that.

When we were due to check out at the end of our stay, she provided a trolley that we could use to take our luggage down to a taxi.

My wife and I could talk about her endlessly. She is a real human being with a very kind heart. She sets a real example for all her colleagues and superiors to follow. All hotels depend on staff like Szilvia for their reputation and continued prosperity.

If she is still working at the Premier Inn, management should definitely put her forward for promotion.

Stayed for four nights in a very dark room. You had to ask at reception in the morning for fresh towels or room to be serviced. Unfortunately there was never anyone around to ask as reception was closed until 3pm checkin time. Managed to get fresh towels from a housekeeping member of staff who just happened to be on our floor when we returned to our room. Our bathroom was never cleaned or bins emptied during our stay. Not a pleasant stay at all and would avoid a premiere inn for the dreadful service we experienced. They are still using covid as an excuse for not servicing rooms for a stay of two nights or more . There was no around when we left at 9am after our stay to even complain about our uncomfortable stay

It's OK. Stayed here for one night. Bed was a bit soft for me, got an average sleep, the air con unit was humming through the night, even though I turned it off. Windows can't be opened.

Reception staff wasn't the most welcoming though, could have done better to make the welcome more warming.

Good central location to Bromley South station to get into central London 🚅

Vehicle didn't fit in the carpark, website told us vehicles more the 7', we phoned to find out if that was width or height, go no answer just a recorded message telling us to check the website (where we got the confusing information).
We asked for advice on where to park and were told "on the street - check the signs", which isn't as helpful as it could have been.
The hotels location isn't easy to find or get to. It's near nandos, that might help.
The heating control in our room was broken, meaning we woke up hot and sweaty, which wasn't ideal.
Drink machine broke, so we had to get water from the bar. Fortunately it was still open.
