Be warned these rooms do not have air con (only a desk top fan). Stayed one night in early summer and the room was exceptionally warm. Plus safety windows only open an inch or so. Also no remote for the TV.

Clean rooms, and great service. Unlimited Breakfast is really tasty. Wish they had small refrigerators in the rooms though. And I guess they need more staff as two people manning reception, kitchen and bar is absurd. Would visit again if I find myself in the area again

Room was ok. Clean enough but very basic. Dinner was appalling. I didn’t expect for star cuisine but did think that a chicken burger was a safe enough bet. Wrong! No brioche bun, no Monterey Jack cheese, undercooked chips and chicken. When I raised with the waiter he said it doesn’t come with cheese. I showed him the menu and he replied that ‘we don’t have any cheese ‘. Nice enough fella, just no idea about customer service and not a chef either I imagine.
Parking is a joke. Very few spaces. Whole place stinks of weed. Not great for me as a woman travelling alone in business.

The first thing, the car park. Literally only about a dozen spaces if that. Shared with Halfords. No good if you have anything bigger than a standard transit van.
There is a bit of street parking if you're lucky.

Rooms are standard Travelodge, nice and clean. Kettle and tea making facilities.
Sadly being so close to such a main road traffic noise is an issue especially if it's warm and you want the window open through the night.

Being a light sleeper the traffic through the night did distrub me. So not a good sleep.

At breakfast there were little plastic forks??? After sometime they were replaced halfway through my breakfast but come on. Get organised.

I've been to many Travelodges this was not the worst but equally not the best either.

Good little Travelodge, surprisingly quiet, very clean with all the standard Travelodge fittings.
What makes this place though is the staff. Their friendly, helpful and quick to respond to requests.
Due to my work I'm constantly moving around and staying in different hotels around the UK, this one was a very pleasant surprise and I will definitely using it again next time I'm working in that area.

The rooms we stayed in were large enough. We wanted the family room which has 1 double bed and 2 single beds, and even though our bookings were muddled up, the staff were helpful enough to offer us acceptable alternative last minute.

There's free parking though if you arrive late, they might all be taken. I believe the parking on the main street nearby is also free.

The breakfast ok'ish cos things kept finishing and we're not instantly replenished.

Great place and very handy for the Northern Line and straight into London.
Staff are lovely. However, the place is understaffed, and please, please could you stock up on your bottles of ale.

Seem to be a lot of staff not knowing how to issue refunds. Then card machines not working.

However was eventually issued with a good voucher to compensate, manager was attentive to detail.

Paid for early check in and wasn’t ready until after 3pm, assuming staff issues again.
