We came on a mid week overnight stay with dinner and breakfast included.
We had a wonderful welcome and reception planned the times of our VIP dinner efficiently. The room was comfortable, clean and tea/coffee plus biscuits and bottle of water available.
Our canapes and prosecco before dinner was a delight and the wines and dinner courses were amazing. The staff treated us wonderfully and were friendly and happy to change anything we didn't like. There is plenty to choose from during breakfast from cereals to full English and is done as a self service. We cannot fault the service we received during our stay.
It was such a wonderful experience and a big thank you goes out to all the lovely staff.

Knew we’d arrive early morn so we booked the previous day also. Hotel canceled our paid res when we didn’t show up 1st day and had to rebook. I was assigned a room that hadn’t been cleaned. Back to reception for new room. Building reminded me of a stable. Very thin walls. Road noise, next room conversations, plumbing, etc.. Antiquated and moldy bathroom. At least the beds are comfy and clean.

The room and bathroom are more than adequate for an overnight stay. Bathroom decor needs a little work where there were previous leaks and the mastic could be refreshed. AC would be amazing but all in all a great place to stay.

The room was okay but table where the kettle was too close the the end of the bed and had to be extra careful not to knock my ankle, which I did once, and my companions also walked into it several times. The bed was nice and comfortable, good was okay,. All

Decor very tired, bed was uncomfortable. There are also what seem to be ‘long term’ permanent residents - the outside was very untidy with lots of children’s toys and bikes laying around. We asked the receptionist what that was all about and we later found out that it’s under contract with the government to house refugees. For £165 per night expected better! Definitely wouldn’t stay there again.

Our room was super except for the lack of central heating. Two oil filled radiators were provided but these took about 3 hours to bring the room to slightly warm. Breakfast each day was a bit of a muddle with little timely replenishment. Understand the hotel now has a government contract which explained the number of residents each day, but needs must in these challenging times for the hospitality industry.
