Trivelles Gatwick

Have found no faults. I'm here now. Guy was on reception when I arrived,, welcoming and helpful. Room is clean and comfy, curtains fit fine to block out the light. Bathroom is clean and everything is functioning as it should. I'm not having breakfast as I eat clean but would suit many. I guess.

Upon arrival it was not clear where the reception was for the property as you enter through the rear of the property to be greated by a run down and delapidated looking building and car parking spaces. Once inside and given our room keys I was back at the reception within 5 minutes to complain about wet coffee on the floor next to the bed and mouldy duvet cover on the bed. We were given a new room that looked nicer and didn't have wet coffee on the floor.... Bonus so far. All fixtures and fittings are either hanging on by a thread or already broken. the walls are covered in stains and marks, the bedside lights are being held together by the wires and nothing more. oh and the shower rail holding the shower head is on the last couple of threads of the screw. Could hear every plane that took off through the night, something that I thought we'd escape being this distance from Gatwick but that's just on me I guess. The "continental breakfast" consisted of boxed cereal, bread and a toaster, yogurts, apples and pears... No option of something cooked and no real variety. Extremely disappointed and would not want to recommend to anyone.

We usually stop at another hotel when we have an early flight abroad, but could not get a room there. Booked this hotel, which is in a very good location not far from Gatwick Airport. Man on reception was welcoming and carried my suitcase to my room which was good of him. Room and bathroom clean, tea/coffee facility. Had a comfortable nights sleep. L Rust

Our stay for a family wedding was adequate as the first room was terrible but then we were moved to a much cooler, quieter and roomier room. The location of the hotel is secluded so very peaceful but the grounds upkeep made it feel like nobody cared about the grounds, with weeds growing everywhere and the gravel/tarmac drive had holes... It just felt uncared for.
Breakfast! What breakfast? A fun sized box of cornflakes and an apple was apparently their idea of breakfast. Don't pay the extra for breakfast as there's a McDonald's 2 mins drive down the road.

Missed flight last flight, so booked here ,arrived after 10 pm so keys where left in a marked envelope.
Room was small and very warm but it had a nice powerful fan in it, which kept the room cool, room had fridge, microwave, kettle, iron with ironing board and a safe.
We both got a good night's sleep which is the most important thing.
If booking a taxi be prepared to wait for up to an hour on it coming.
Taxi from Gatwick north Terminal is around £23 each way.

Ahhhh, where to start? Let's start with saying they're lucky they're getting a generous 2 star rating from me.
Disgustingly dirty and run down... They obviously don't have any shame renting these rooms out in this condition. Worn down, outdated, damaged and disgustingly dirty.
On check in, walked into my room and the tub and surround was wet so obviously somebody was in there. Hair in the tub and on the sink and behind the sink and behind the toilet. Dirty mirror and sink. Carpets are so gross you will want to put sandals on after your shower. Floor boards are uneven and good desperate need of repair. Mattresses were old and pillows lumpy, a disconcerting sleep to say the least once I found blood stains on the sheets... I felt like something was going to crawl up my leg during the night.
No lift either so I hope you enjoy lugging your bags up stairs. No food on premises either, have to order delivery from a third rate pizza joint...no thanks.
There must be fake reviews because there's no way they would get the rating advertised. I would highly recommend you do not stay here and spend your money elsewhere.

An absolute horrid hotel. There was nobody on reception when we arrived. We had to call a mobile to inform them that we had arrived. There is no lift, so we struggled to get upstairs with our suitcases. The room was filthy. There was chewing gum stuck to the radiator along with coffee stains. Black marks all over the walls. The TV had wires hanging from the back. The room was so hot,but only had a small opening window. There was a fan,but was on the floor because of lack of furniture. The fridge and microwave was dirty and dusty. The double bed was so small, it only had room for one. It was supposed to be a double room, yet there was only 1 towel, and 1 coat hanger in the wardrobe which had no door. There was nobody around for breakfast. The selection was poor, cereal or toast. Will never go there again and I will certainly not recommended this place to anyone I know.

Booked this hotel as the pictures looked lovely. Don't trust the pictures rooms look NOTHING like them. Hotel reception hard to find no sign posting. Once arrived at the front doors were locked as no one was at reception. Rang the bell twice and finally someone came. Only possitive the guy was great really friendly. Entered the room. Nice and big but soon problems became clear. Bottle caps from previous guests on the floor. Carpet ripped. Curtains didn't fit windows gaps as it's three pieces of fabric. Single glazing so can hear every noise outside. People checking in and out. Cars you name it. Mold in Bath room. Shower not secure. Wires from mood lighting exposed and not working. Side light not working. Sockets upside down. Rips in bed sheets. Door not safe massive gap at bottom, Can fit whole hand under the bottom. No sound proofing could hear every conversation. So had very little sleep. Could hear every one walk. Go past the room open doors. Terrible stay. Save your money and book elsewhere!!!!!!
