No one spoke English to aid my check in! Gruff man in reception shuffled about the hotel but didn’t understand a word I said!! Room was ok but I booked entirely based on the fact it was listed as bed and breakfast. There was no breakfast!!!

I was travelling because my son was in hospital so booked 6 days in the belief I’d be visiting him every day. He was actually released the day I arrived. I attempted to use Google Translate to communicate with the man at the hotel, but that didn’t work. He phoned someone, who also had dreadful English, and explained I would need to leave earlier than planned. I hoped they would work with me re money. The hotel was not busy. But no, they kept the lot! Plus I tried to book a single room for my son, which I paid £35 cash for. He couldn’t use the room because the bed was so bad. Full of springs! Didn’t get the money back for that either. He had to share with me!

Definitely do not recommend this hotel. Plus it is also on a noisy main road.

Not a friendly reception, after knocking on the door for ages. It's as though he didn't really want guests arriving! Cleanliness lacks. Fire doors not working properly. 2 thin towels...I'd use as a floor cloth! One room smelled very damp. No breakfast available. I think table and chairs are for show. Side entrance to park the car is almost impossible. Barely wide enough and very bumpy! Avoid staying here. Its as though they want the income but have not invested any of it into the hotel.

Multiple issues came to light once we arrived last night! The photo of the building you see, is very edited. The sign is missing some letters. Cracked window secured by tape.
Breakfast isn't available! The dining room is all for show! The wooden doors were secured by an old electric cable! No reception, just a small table with a laptop. No rush to answer the doorbell on arrival!

Parking is a VERY VERY narrow lane between two buildings, so with a large car, i would pray that the parking out front is available 👍🏻

Got into our room, cobwebs hanging almost everywhere, dust everywhere. The radiator had gunk on the top, and the inside of it had old tickets and large collections of dust and grime.
The bedding is heavily stained, with only a groundsheet between you and a very very stained mattress! Damp in the bathroom, (one of the rooms had a very heavy damp smell too).

The kettle could've done with a clean also on the inside! And the switch panel to the bathroom wasn't fixed correctly!
The fire doors weren't propped open (they should automatically shut!)

The walls are very thin too, which didn't help me sleep well at all!
(There were several other guests, and 3 floors of rooms.)

Some handles to the doors were loose also!
Not the most politest of welcomes and communications, with one using google translate.

Note: No towels are actually included... Or lamps... Or flowers in vases...

The only positive side, is the smell of the owners cooking, which smelt really lovely🤦🏻‍♀️

The room is very nice and clean and the guy was very friendly and attentive. I would say good value for money. I would definitely come and stay when I am around this area

Booked this hotel last minute to halve journey home from the New Forest. If I hadn't paid in advance I would have driven straight home. Had to ring front door bell for ages before someone answered. No reception just a small table. No bar no breakfast room. Took ages to find our booking. Room hadn,t been hoovered. Clean sheets on an uncomfortable bed. No advice on where we could eat ( I've only been here a week!) Couldn,t wait to leave in the morning. No one around just leave your keys on the small table! Avoid if you can.

Though the room was quiet, and the hot water worked, my accidental stay here was augmented by grey towels of small size that appeared to come from a paper factory, and a strange set of in-room utilities including 13 amp mains sockets with "Broken" written upon them in felt-tip pen, and a tea kettle using the floor as a table. Do not be fooled by advertisements. There is no food. The car park journey is unlit. The hotel's name does no favour to the town

The state of the room was so bad I decided to cancel my stay and leave immediately. Flies all over the wall, awful smell, rude and lazy staff that only care about money, expensive booking, 1 pillow for a couple?, black mould in bathroom, radiator was filthy, pube or armpit hair left on the pillow, walls stained with coffee or tea, radiator filthy, windows filthy, worlds oldest hairdryers on the wall, plug socket broken, did not listen to the criticism and believed the room was perfect.. so many more things I could say but the pictures should explain for themselves. Just not a good hotel or staff. The cleaners should be fired to be honest.

Website photos not correct, poor exterior paint work, missing letters from hotel sign, narrow alley to parking, dark no exterior light from carpark. Main door appeared unsecure, anyone could walk in.
No dining facilities, glass tables placed next to entrance.( Nothing like the website photos)
Difficult to understand the man who we assumed worked there, he had to contact the owner? For us to make a payment, no debit card facilities, he had difficulty understanding me, very frustrating.
Room was ok, but no mattress or pillow protectors, 1 pillow was stained, quilt was adequate. Small thin towels not bath towels, we did ask for another pillow & towel which was supplied.
Extremely dusty radiator. Bath room sink dirty plug hole.
Glad we were only there for 1 night.
When we returned later for the night the door was ajar, a person was sat in the large room next to entrance with his jacket & hood up, we assumed he was staff. Very scary. In the morning we didn't see anyone on checkout. Obviously no breakfast facilities.
