We stayed 2 nights here
The Staff were friendly & helpful & the breakfast was good.
But as with alot of other reviews the Hotel is in great need of decorating, and updating. Our room was very dusty, the corners had thick build up of dust & cobwebs as did the window sill. There was spillage marks down a wall. The air con worked but was hanging off the wall.
I took photos to show the manager & she addressed the issues. Its not worth £100 per night. This Hotel needs work on it and new housekeeping staff.

Staff very unhelpful. Don't get me started on the rooms for the prices they charge, it's a proper budget hotel!! Mattress so hard, thermostat hanging off the wall, toilet doesn't flush, we explained this to a member of staff only to be told "mine is the same" unbelievable. Towels also smelt and stained I would definitely not recommend this hotel wouldn't even give it a 1 star. I have photo evidence if the proprietor would like to see.

Good staff, they try their best., but AVOID this hotel. Its grim, old most rooms ac/heating dont work. only realised at night when going for dinner its used as a Shelter. People suspiciously loitering every where.
Dash cams caught many trying to open car. Not safe and not worth the Price.STAY AWAY.
##Staff go work elsewhere. Better hotels to work for.
Typical example of Worst western. Never again will i stay at one.

I'm sure one day this will be a lovely place, but right now... It's a building site! I actually was quite fearful for my safety, the smoke detectors were sealed up with rubber gloves. The restaurant/breakfast room was closed. I'm pretty certain the venue is being used as a temporary housing shelter.
I received no information from the hotel that refurbishment is being carried out.
I was very disappointed and left after one night, I would have left earlier if there were other hotels available that night.

The worst hotel I've ever been. Receptionist watched videos on his phone and couldn't be bothered. The building smells bad especially the ground floor. Actually it reeked. A mixture of mice droppings and sewer. In the room for two (separate beds) one was a proper bed and other a most uncomfortable sofa of my life. I would be more comfortable on the floor if I wasn't afraid of touching the carpet with a 5 metre stick due to cleanness, or should I say lack of it. Somebody did clean the room and bathroom but only where it was convenient to. Every single area where the hoover or mop wasn't able to fit easily was filthy. What it looks like - few years old yellow buildups of dirt and gunk in every corner of the bathroom. Bathroom curtain haven't been washed in ages. Everything is old, broken or soon to be broken. AC didn't work, shower head leaking, shower hose leaking in two places, faucet barely moving. Bathroom has no ventilation at all. Room wasn't cleaned even once during the stay. I left the worst for last. The shower stops working after few minutes. Every single time. I think there is some water tank which empties and you simply loose water mid shower! That is not all, it isn't possible to adjust the water temperature. Any adjustment ends up in sudden drop of pressure thus not being able to shower. You will burn in steam for 3 minutes only to find yourself waiting for 15 minutes for another dose of steam. Maybe it is a conscious safety system so no one can die from overheating...? Terrible place. Due to the British F1 Grand Prix the price of the room was bloated beyond comprehension. Looking at this retrospectively, I think, I would have had a better more comfortable time in a tent or hammock... I do not recommend that place to anyone. An easy 1 star.

Had a lovely stay. Room was huge compare to other hotels and very tidy and clean. Beautiful view outside my room. Hotel look was like some huge mansion as there was plenty of space around hotel. Loved the location. Free parking and Staff was helpful.

Got to the hotel at 5 am and the security guard was sleeping loudly in the lobby. Asked when I could check in he said the receptionist would be there at 7am. At 7:15am I asked if I could check in yet the guard yelled at me and told me that he is not a receptionist. At 7:30am the receptionist finally arrived and left the door wide open on a cold morning when asked if I could close the door he said no, he wanted fresh air. He then angrily said the room was not ready and I should leave the reception area because I was not a guest. I explained that I am waiting to check in and that I would be a guest as soon as the room was ready. Then gesturing to the door he said "I do not want you here, please leave" I was beside myself. No customer service. No expectation of being asked a regular question or performing regular customer service roles. Plus the rooms are old and in desperate need of redecorating and the hotel is littered with degenerates. Avoid!

Only used the electric car charger as it was past midnight but that was well maintained. Next time hopefully will be a more sociable hour and can pop in for a cup of tea.
