Amazingly accommodating and friendly hosts. I had accidentally booked for two instead of four, which was obviously a surprise for all concerned when we realised! Mae and Steve though handled the situation so kindly and graciously and in no time at all had brought in some extra mattresses, bed clothes and towels. We had a really comfortable stay and delicious breakfast, and all staff were incredibly friendly. Many thanks to you all - we will definitely come back again (and try to book the right room next time!)

We stayed at the Castle for 2 nights from 9.08.22, The staff where great from check in to check out, nothing was to much trouble. The room was spotless and very comfortable with everything we required. Breakfast was first class, everything from porridge to the Full English via eggs benedict, all cooked to perfection. Endless tea, coffee and fruit juice. The location is ideal, close to the coast and the South Downs and there is ample parking on site All in all a first class visit and we will back again.

Wound up here while staying at a hotel in Bramber. Pleasantly surprised at the menu choice and quality. Nice beers, decent food and a very nice beer garden in which I enjoyed my meal. Would come back for sure

Amazing! The team was excellent, especially with the kids! No questiens remained unanswered! Quick and friendly service and the area was also nice for long walks and visiting the old castle grounds. The rooms were considered a bit small by some, I found it just brilliant and cosy! And, as mentioned already: The team was just excellent! Always again!

A good value stay with helpful staff. Highlight is personalised breakfast. Eggs Benedict delicious. Far, far superior to the usual offer for an overnight stay.

Nice pub, restaurant and rooms. However, bed was completely worn out leading to a terrible nights sleep. If the bed is no good, there's no point to the rest being nice.

Everything was good, the rooms, the reception, the service and the breakfast.
I would only like the staircase handrails to be usable all the way to the second floor (a part was too close to the wall to fit one's fingers).
The location is ideal, close to the coast and the South Downs and there is ample parking on site
All in all a first class visit and we will back again.
