A nice, yet unassuming place to stay. It was incredibly convenient for seeING the races as the hotel is a short walk away from the stadium. Not the most luxurious place to stay, but good enough. Nice continental breakfast with a very friendly woman named Christine.

Nice lodge and reasonably priced though a tad dated. Room was nice and large though pillows not the most comfortable. Grapefruit segments at breakfast were yummy. Shower was frustrating to use. A lift would have been nice as our suitcase was heavy.

Fairly standard room, no thrills but everything as it should be. Only guests in hotel and lady on reception very welcoming and polite. Breakfast a simple continental but enough

The stay was excellent due to Sally the lady at reception who was just so friendly, kind and helpful throughout our stay here she is a credit to the organisation and i hope her amazing customer service skills are recognised!

THIS IS NOT A HOTEL 19/07/22 otherwise known as the hottest day ever recorded in history in the UK. Working as a contractor at the racetrack for two days outdoors. So I booked a "hotel" so I didn't have to travel but more importantly would have somewhere to hide from the sun between midday and early evening. Asked for an early check in and they said check in at 12. Perfect? Got there in the midday sun, no answer, no staff working. Eventually someone phones me back at 17:30! 5 hours waiting in 40plus degrees. During that 5 hours they have left the curtains open and this place doesn't have aircon! The room is an oven by now. Apon arrival im told there is no breakfast as its a race day!??? It is included In the price, luckily a nice lady made Mr some porridge. This is not a hotel. This is a very uncomfortable building with no airflow. Shame because otherwise it would be quite convenient. Do not stay here. Awful

Night was so hot 🔥 thanks to hitting system in a hotel. They care about visitors who like warm rooms. I would recommend spending winter time only with Sandown Park Lodge.

AVOID - dirty carpets and the worst bed ever , had back pain for 3 days after leaving , it’s more like a hostel . Staff were ok . Won’t be back

Booked a room as we're going to the races and this hotel is literally on site👍👍👍. The hotel was ok, but definately not the Ritz, reminded me more of a transport cafe ( no disrespect). Although the rooms were well fitted out, the curtains were thin and let in the security light until midnight☹️, the windows were a poor fit and you could hear the wind whistling in and traffic passing ☹️. Having said that we would stay again if going to the races as the hotel is close to the course and there are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from and the breakfast in race day was outstanding (non race days it's continental only). There are no other meals served at the hotel and it is only available for B&B. Staff were friendly and very helpful, plenty of parking and we'll situated not just for the racecourse.
