Food was fine as where the drinks considering the location. The staff are well mannered and polite despite me having food in my fridge that is older. However the dress code is something to be desired. We was served by lad that looked like he arrived on a bike with his trousers tucked in his socks , a girl with air Jordans on that wouldn't be out of place in LA Lakers and a girl that obviously knew it was going to be cold inside as we was freezing. Apart from that worth every part of £200 .

It's definitely one of the best Hotel in UK where I stay. Building of that Hotel is nice piece of history. Rooms are very tidy and spacious. Lot of antics inside a building and surroundings look stunning. Very friendly staff working there and restaurant is amazing, they serve very delicious food. I will definitely back again to this hotel.

Superb Christmas lunch. Lovely food and loads of it. Great service by the team. Only criticism is your cattle grids probably need some attention!

I came away for some "me time" for the first time and what a stunning location to be in. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Room was just beautiful with amazing views out over the countryside. Had an evening meal in the restaurant. Oh my goodness!! Food was divine. Would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be returning in the future!!

I stayed at Sweeney hall last night. What a lovely location, this hall is understated quality. The room was clean, bright and warm with quality furnishings. The breakfast was great quality and understated and the service relaxed and unobtrusive. I would love to stay for dinner next time I visit

I've visited here many times, had my daughter engagement here, my husband 50th here and stayed over for Valentines night and today we've popped in for dinner and I can honestly say, wow yet again. Perfect setting, food, and services. This really is the best place to go.
