The staff were friendly and polite, though the loud TV downstairs running through to what seemed like midnight at least could be a problem for some people. On arrival we were informed that there was no hot water. There were no signs to indicate we got to the right place, everyting felt hugely dated, especially the rooms, with worn brown carpet, what seemed like second or third hand beds. Fresh pillows and duvets, but the bedding was not of a typical hotel quality. Pillows were mismatched and uneven, and only one pillow per person. One chair, no TV, no bedside table or bedside lamp. Toilet seat was broken, bath generally dirty, and polystyrene cups to make a drink if you would like. There was a single size duvet cover on a king size duvet, and the cover itself was ripped. It's heart breaking to leave such a bad review, but hopefully it gives the owners an indication of what to look at, because you can see from everything they're doing, they're really trying, it's definitely a work in progress. It's a comfortable place to stop in if you're looking for no frills, cheap as chips accomodation.

Stayed for one night there and whilst a fair bit of refurb is going on to update the hotel, the service and help from the staff was great. I came with a motorbike and they went out of their way to help store the bike overnight safely. So can’t fault them for that. Looking forward to seeing the hotel fully fitted out, but will come again in the meantime as the service from the staff was great.

Stayed for 1 night with a large group, the guys were very welcoming upon arrival and showed us to our rooms, they are going through a refurb at the moment and are doing a great job with it, this hotel has some great potential! Look forward to staying again and seeing the finished result! Well done guys!

On arrival we were informed that there was no hot water in the rooms. The sign outside (which I assume should have had the name of the place on) was broken.

I found an insulin pen in the foyer and handed it to the girl stating that it may be very important to whoever has lost it but she just looked at me in confusion.

They had tried to shove a king size duvet into a single duvet cover.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned.

Overall, very expensive for very little.

Very bad experience over here. Basic needs like towel, heating, cups, were not provided. The number given for service was not working. They even didn't bother to check back. Alot of money but no services.😡

The most basic hotel I have ever stay in!
Lights did nor work nor the soap dispensers, Kettle did reach the socket
TV you need to login via your phone or laptop which I presume you need to pay! Leaking toilets, mildew!!!

Don’t go here there were cockroaches, the floor was damp, and weird stains everywhere. Definitely health violations

Terrible and outdated. Place looks so so tacky from the outside with the cheap lights. Looks very out of place in this lovely location. Place needs demolishing if I'm honest.
