Lovely receptionist, very polite, was very helpful and recommended great local pub to have dinner at. The hotel is outside town and there is no food around.
My room was bigger than expected, with very comfortable bed and constant hot water in the bathroom

Arriving at around in the morning, I was confronted with a locked front door and a note to ring a free phone number. Fished around for my phone and managed to dial the number without being washed away by the rain. Door was promptly opened by a staff member who quickly handed me a towel and checked me in. After a short climb up the stairs and a walk along a corridor so bland and repetitive it was hard to tell if any progress was being made, I made it to the gloriously indifferent room 35. Light switch by the door illuminated a large box like space with a bed, two chairs, a desk/storage effort and a small bathroom. Dropped my bags and assessed the scene; clean, spacious and without any discernable character at all. Used the spotlessly clean bathroom, including the complementary hand soap dispensed from a wall mounted plunger and headed to bed. Removed the pointless stop of coloured material that stripped across the duvet, too tired at this point to ponder the reason for it's existence. The bed was comfortable, the pillows fluffy. Realised there was no power socket or USB by the bed, so phone went on charge at the deaks/storage effort across the room. Back into bed and used the usefully placed bedside light switch to turn off the lights - only then did I realise I had left the bathroom light on and had to make another exit from the bed. Finally ready to rest, I noticed the 'art' above the bed. Too tired at this point to try and make sense of it. It's morning; I am awakened by my alarm sounding somewhere across the room. Having slept well in the comfortable bed I slowly came to and wandered across the large room to silence the phone. Quick trip to the still spotlessly clean bathroom for a toilet break and a shower in the surprisingly warm and high pressure water. The provided soft white towel took care of the excess moisture and it was time to get dressed. Once in a fit state to greet the world, I had a little explore of the space. Two leatherette tub chairs with pointy chrome legs, a large window that you could open a little, a dwarf kettle and some tea and coffee sachets, and enough floor space to have a hockey match. As I waited for the vetran, battle scarred dwarf kettle to boil some water, my eye was taken again to the only item in the room that was not totally bland...the 'art' on the wall. A large print of something blue and out of focus, with a red splodge in the bottom left corner. If anyone can explain what it is supposed to be, please do let me know. Kettle boiled, tea made, and still a little early for my appointment. I continued exploring by looking under the very high bed; nothing doing there, but spotlessly clean like the rest of the room. I had it paid for the wifi but there was a tv and good od 4g coverage. Exploring the giant characterless room was more interesting though. Tea drunk, possessions rounded up, it was time to leave. The morning corridor obstacle course had been laid out; cleaning trolleys and replacement bedding Lal along the corridor but being well rested I was able to get through with ease. Down the stairs and into reception, key dropped through little slot. Staff member appeared as if by magic and thanked me for staying. Noticed a snack vending machine on the way out but didn't see any other guests. Pleased to see the rain had stopped, I headed for the car and escape from the very clean but totally stimulus free Travelodge decor. As I had not paid extra for a disappointing breakfast I was pleased to discover the neighbouring petrol station had a Greggs, where a bacon baggette and coffee were purchased for a bargain £4.50. Now fully rested and fully fueled I waved goodbye to the clean but bland Travelodge with the strange 'art' and headed off to my appointment fully rested and a little overwhelmed by the colour and culture of the outside world.
TL:DR Clean, friendly, cheap and comfortable.

Weird entrance off the roundabout, just off the petrol station forecourt. Well situated and easily accessed through with good parking. Rooms are clean and spacious and staff are friendly.
Bed is comfy and there is a desk, chair, and TV. Feels like a safe area. Not too fat from amenities.

No complaints.
Checked in bang on 3:00 and was on the ground floor Room 16. Everything was fine and average, loads of room to hang clothing and storage for shoes etc. TV was a brilliant size no complaints, shower/bath/sink was clean and lovely hot water and plenty of toilet roll. Beds was very comfy alongside the pillows and clean carpet, couple stains on walls but nothing to complain on. Overall, 1 night stay was absolutely fine and would return and recommend. :))

It's ok for a night. Good value for money if you're you get there late and leave early. Was clean and comfy but spartan. Couldn't bolt the door! Staff member tried three rooms, all the same. Apparently they can't fit them for H&S reasons!! 🤔 Mmm, just wondered about my safety! Anyway, pushed two chairs up against the door. Staff very engaging and helpful.
The breakfast box? Leave it, go to Starbucks down the road.

Warm clean rooms, hot shower, with a greggs outside basic but you get what you pay for, good for business and work.
