I night stay nice welcome by reception staff. Helpful. Comfortable surroundings. Bar /restaurant staff very nice accommodating. One lady took the time to show my daughter napkins folding. Food really good. Array of breakfast choice. Room had s broken sash so noise from outside more audible. Reception aware of this, awaiting specialist to attend.
Close to cathedral and centre. Carpark at hotel and opposite. Thank you to all.

Lovely place. Ideal location. A little tired in a few places - but not a problem.
Lovely staff & bfast. Dog friendly. Parking for the day expensive but it is a central location.Nice pool sauna & hot tub. Walk to Waterfront Restaurant for good food & atmosphere.

For the price, this is a fantastic hotel.
It's a great location in Exeter. Just a 5 min walk to the river side and a 5 min walk into the centre of the city.
Decent size car park. I arrived late and there was still space.
Rooms are large and comfortable and very clean.
I'm always dubious about breakfasts in hotels but for ease decided to try it here.
It was great, all the warm food was freshly cooked and there was plenty of other choices to including cereals, fruit, yogurts and pastries along with a good mix of hot and cold drinks.
Staff were friendly and attentive.
The only disappointing part to my visit was that the sauna and jacuzzi were out of action due to a broken pump that same morning. The pool was still open but didn't use on this occasion.
When I previously stayed here I did use all the leisure facilities, which were clean and well kept.

Have stayed here many times over the years. Comfortable quiet room, lovely staff, great pool/sauna.
Shower in the bathroom looked great but as I used the spa showers at least once a day I didn't get to use it.
Breakfast was excellent. I didn't have anything cooked so can't comment on that but there was a good selection.
Easy walking to the cathedral, shops, restaurants and Quay (very steep on the return). I will certainly be returning.

If I wanted to be picky then the carpet at the foot of the bed was threadbare and some paint/wall was damaged. However as it was a free upgrade to a privilege room I really can't complain.

Loved our stay here. Stayed for one night for my partners birthday, the package deal of a night stay, dinner, breakfast and drinks (bottle of wine and 4 beers) was excellent value for money. Had a relaxing afternoon using the spa facilities. Comfy room and bed, nice shower. Friendly staff and food was good. Also good location.Only criticism ,was the car park is way over priced at £15 a day!

We stayed one night in a Premier room, walls are thin we did hear our neighbours snoring but our room was lovely, really clean and great free tolierties available.
Breakfast was fabulous, everything you could want, location perfect, we walked into the main town and a trip to the cinema.
The swimming pool and facilities are great and a bonus.
Reception informed us that upon arrival, there was a wedding reception taking place that evening, but we heard nothing.
My husband became unwell whist there, we called down for a honey and lemon drink and even though at the time room service had ended this was brought direct to our room with additional ginger tea bags, nothing was too much bother.
We will be staying again.

A lovely plush hotel with very helpful and polite staff. We came here for an afternoon/cream tea with family to celebrate a birthday. The food was very good and we were surprised how reasonable the price was! We highly recommend for a nice treat.

Nicely situated hotel, with elegant reception, bar and restaurant areas. My (upgraded) room was spacious, comfy and well equipped... plenty of attention to detail. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very good value.
