Travelodge London Mile End

Great stay, had to book a room last minute for a few days and I was greeted with a warm, friendly welcome. They helped me book the room online as I needed an accessible room because I occasionally use a wheelchair. Even had to add an extra day due to mix up in dates and they helped me no problem, no issue. Place is clean, comfortable and safe. All staff was very friendly, they were always willing to help. I would definitely stay here again

Staff here are the friendliest Travelodge staff I have ever come across. A credit to Travelodge :) The manager in particular was very helpful and friendly and also a nice young gentleman at breakfast (blonde hair). We had a slight issue with one of our rooms which the manager quickly resolved, and the gentleman at breakfast was super friendly and helpful in giving me directions to the London Marathon start. Both wished me well for the marathon. They even had bananas and water at reception for runners, which was a very nice touch. Tube station Stepney Green is seconds away on foot, good location. Genuinely the most caring staff I have ever come across at a Travelodge. 10/10.

Beware: prepaid extras doubly charged. We prepaid breakfasts and early booking in "Manage Booking" in Travelodge website. We informed the clerk and we confidently payed at chekin. Later we checked the invoice and notice the double charging. We informed the clerk (Carlos) at checkout: he said he was unable to fix the problem personally and that we personally have to address Travelodge customer service. Very unfair. Hotel is generally clean and comfy but we need some money back!

Great value for the money. The rooms are new and clean. The staff is very helpful and the lobby is a pleasant place for eat, drink and rest. The hotel is right near a 'district line' station, what makes its location fantastic.

Lovely little Travelodge, small and friendly. Seconds from Stepney Green station so good access to west of east london and the city. Had an issue with getting an iron board when I arrived as someone had not returned it but my man Jerome hunted around (at 10pm) and found one for me

Awful. Turned up - told my room (booked two weeks prior) was under maintenance. At 11.30pm!! Pull the other one - clearly overbooked and hoped I wouldn’t show, even though i’d paid. Made to wait 20 mins for a taxi that then took another 30 mins to take me to a more run down alternative, no where near where I wanted to stay. Pathetic. Not to mention dangerous - if you’re vulnerable then definitely don’t book here, as god knows where you’ll end up. So book only if you want to stay an hour from where you booked, much later then planned

We had an issue with room service. However, Carlos who is the manager on charge dealt with the situation perfectly as well as gave us 20% discount on the next stay. Great customer service by Carlos and his team.

Great location with great accommodation. Easy to commute, cosy and nest bedrooms. As we’ve stayed most of the days out, the place is worth the money. The only thing is that it doesn’t have a car park. We didn’t feel good about leaving the car randomly parked in a street where we don’t know.
