A rather tired (yet functioning) example of this chain. Perfectly adequate for an overnight, clean and comfortable just dated. Check in person not overly helpful Pub next door offers standard pub fair with friendly efficient service. Would stay again if needed

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room 39 was upstairs, well stocked and clean. Food in the next door Brewers Fayre was good. Just one niggly complaint. Need better non slip in the baths for having showers as husband slipped in there as he was having a shower, he had only turned on the watee and moved to stand under shower stream. We didn’t see anyone on the reception to say anything too. Luckily he only jarred his arthritic knees and his wrist. I do hate to think what might have happens if he hadn’t put his hand down to break fall. Will definitely stay there again though.

A "budget" hotel but a good one. Hadn't used this chain before but it was convenient for my business appointment. Helpful staff. Pub with food and outside eating next door . Next to busy road but the double glazing did its job. Some noise from floor above occasionally. Climatisation was a big plus. Kettle in the room. Vending machine for cold drinks etc in the entrance . Comfortable bed. Shower and bath, TV. Rooms perhaps beginning to show their age . On the whole good value, would use again if in the area.

The staff are really friendly and helpful,, we arrived early and they offered to put our bags in the office til booking in so we could head out for a bit.
If you are light on luggage it's a short walk to the train station, made all the better for there being a shopping estate filled with places to eat/drink.
Super close to town centre.
The room was tidy, though the air con was a bit cobwebby but easily ignored. Super fast running hot water for the bath and shower.
It's only a two story place and there's no lift so if you have more than a small bag of luggage the stairs will be a bit of a struggle.
Overall we're happy to use it again!

Standard Premier Inn fayre. Having stayed at a slighter newer one 2 days later I appreciated that the rooms are smaller with slightly less amenities by comparison; not enough sockets or any USB ports (which with kids was a struggled). Front of house staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Average rooms with basic breakfast. Squeaky floors, but area relatively quiet compared to other hotels in Hatfield.

Clean but very old rooms which needs to be refurbished for sure. Don't buy breakfast, huge disappointment.
