We were there for 3 nights and on the first day on the evening we recognized that I didn’t get warmer in the room and checked the window. the handle was broken and lying next to the window on the floor. We called the owners and they said the handyman can come only tomorrow not today. So it was clear the first night will get cold to sleep. They told us that they will update us if the handyman was there. In the early afternoon I called again because no answer and update. they said he will come and she will keep me updated. Then there came at 5pm just a text message that the handyman had an important issue and will again not be able to fix it today. It was not possible to answer the this text message. They didn’t fixed the window during 4 days of stay, which is in my eyes not acceptable with this temperature outside to sleep with an open window. The communication was a bad joke. Also the room was a lot smaller that it seemed in the pictures and it was dust on the furniture. In the last night there was a fight between other guest from the room on the other side of the corridor. It was really frightening and I thought they would get into our room. there was no police and nobody who could get to clear this situation. it was almost impossible to sleep this night. we hardly don’t recommend this apartment to any kind of travelers!

Room clean and adequately furnished. Was Noisy until late as it was right above a Turkish restaurant. The room was tidied each day but no towel change although they were folded and placed back on the bed damp.

This is not an hotel as such; more like rooms to let. No reception but staff respond quickly to telephone and solve problems very quickly. They are friendly. This Donatello is in Aldgate and next to main road with lots of bud service. Steep set of stairs to reach rooms. The rooms seem to have been modernised recently and are very clean. The only thing of concern is that they use flat pack furniture in the room and it is wobbly and falls apart quite easily as what happened with the desk in my room. No air conditioning if you are booked in on really hot days. Open window. Good radiant heating. Separate bathroom with very small shower. Bathroom is nicely finished but it is juggling they seem to have rushed the finish with 4he seals on the shower door falling off.. go cheap and ruin a nice job. Be careful when turning around in shower you can knock against the tap and accidentally switch the water to scorching. They provide a kettle, tea, coffee and 4 little milks. Plenty of restaurants around as well as Tesco and Sainsbury expresses. They should put anti tip mechanism on wardrobe. Overall, I think good value for 💰.

(Translated by Google) The room I was given was very dirty and the size of a closet, with a bunk bed. The private bathroom had the shower tray broken in two pieces and fixed with moldy silicone. The water from the shower came out either hot or cold. Unfortunately the structure has no reception, for every problem you need to call or send an email so in case of problems like the one described above there is no immediate solution. I recommend the structure. The area is a 5-minute walk from Liverpool St. station, but the neighborhood is very poor and dirty, although it is not dangerous in the evening it is not pleasant to walk along the street.
