The bed was comfortable, the room small but cozy and well designed. The whole hotel it's a nice retrofit of an industrial building, the, staff was really nice and welcoming.

the only problem is that you couldn't open the room windows facing the backyard because of the terrible smell of fried food coming from the surrounding restaurant!!

This is a cool beautique hotel that was formerly a factory situated literally a stones throw away from the royal London hospital, and of course in usual fashion we got one of the the best things in place with a hot hub. I personally like the room and the products that you can use.

Now the food is absolutely superb when you go downstairs to the main restaurant and where the breakfast is made because the chef's name behind the restaurant is Marco Pierre White. Food is absolutely excellent cooked to perfection I will happily come back.

Unfortunately the hotel looks better than it is. I really like the design and the look but it is the little details that were missing. Our room was fine but the bathroom was a bit misconstructed. As there is no shower curtain, everything (towels, toilet paper and most of the floor) got really wet. The staff was nice but not very attentive in my opinion. When we tried to have a coffee or drink at the hotel bar (when it was not busy at all), we were not asked what we wanted to drink and had to actively search for a member of staff to make it happen. Also observed this with other guests. I think the hotel is located in a nice area and is in close proximity to good restaurants.

I've stayed at new road quite a few times and I always enjoy my stay. The staff are friendly and I love the games room. It can get noisy at times due to the area but I always ask for a quieter room towards the back of the hotel. Restaurant food is hit and miss but the servers are great. Would stay again and recommend too!

The staff was super friendly! But this hotel is just not my style. The bathroom (at least for the “warehouse” room I booked) was barely separated from the bedroom. It’s an industrial style. Shower was not separated either…. Just the open bathroom floor with rain shower head but it feels like you’re in the toilet area. Again, just not my personal preference. I don’t want to shower with no separation from the toilet and don’t want to see inside the bathroom from the bed. Room itself was clean, but I def had a problem with the bathroom layout and that it wasn’t clearly shown in the room pictures when booking. Seems a bit deceiving. Also AC was broken and based on reviews it’s been broken for a while.

Good hotel, nice design. Small but well designed rooms. Good beds. Opening windows, and with closed windows very sound proof for noise from streets. Walking distance from underground and overground station white chapel. Also just about 15 minutes walk to tower bridge or London bridge.

Overall: Excellent location, Excellent decor, OK room, OK hotel amenities.

Depends on the rate your paying for this hotel. We came during Christmas, so rates were higher and this did not give 4 star value at the price we paid. I’m seeing half the rates we paid now and it would have been totally worth the price at these rates now.

Things we loved:
- location, excellent if you need to be in so many different parts of London different days. 20 min to almost anywhere. Nice walk to shoreditch too.

- clean, housekeeping came daily, even if we left the room late someone always came around by the time we returned in the evening.

- modern design, excellent security.

- excellent communication via in person and what’s app when we had questions.

Things we did not like:
-Heat did not work for 3 of our 7 nights.
-Rooms are extremely small - king bed situation was awkward with 3 headboards.
- if you don’t have an android phone, you could not connect to the TV.
- very limited hanging space / no area to easily keep clothing so we lived out of our suitcases for the week and in such a small room there was no where to walk when suitcases were open.
- Restaurant service was a little slow but the food was good, however a bit expensive £180 for 4 meals.

Its a lovely hotel, nice decor, very clean, and helpful staff. My only complaints are the small rooms and lack of some room amenity like slippers and toothbrushes. Other than that we had a great stay, and special thanks to Dimitrios and Eduard, they were especially helpful, professional and fun to have a chat with too!
