Just like every other Premier Inn but some rooms had good view most not. No towel change or bed sheet change. Had dust everywhere as if it was empty for awhile. The air con was clicking noise even when it's off. The staff were good, nice and polite. Room did have thin walls as you can hear your neighbours no and then.
Bath/shower soap was the same as the anti-bac. Don't use it just bring your own.

Alwin the amazing Chef made all the difference to my stay. Gorgeous poached eggs.

Delicious.

Alwin is fantastic and has a great rapport with guests. He went the extra mile beyond the call of duty. Big thank you.

Very happy guest indeed.

Air conditioning here is a god send. Nicely refurbished rooms.

Thank you.

The hotel was very attractive and beautifully furnished. The staff were all very helpful as well and the Premier Inn is very close to the shops and the Cathedral. So, perfect !!!

Stayed here twice in the last few months. Location is great. Being a short walk from the town centre.
Rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is very quiet during the night. So you'll get a decent night's sleep.
The food is reasonable and there are packages available for breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast is OK. Fine for the price.
My only criticism is the toasters, they take an age to toast the bread so be sure to put your toast on first and go and get all your other breakfast bits!
Check in and check out is quick and easy.

In town for sombre occasion and having arrived at ridiculous o'clock (22:30ish) the desk staff were suitably pleasant and very patient. Half empty carpark on a Wednesday, easy to find building and entrance.

The room had all the usual kit (kettle, hanging space and hairdryer) the bathroom was perfectly clean and the bed not surprisingly - very comfortable.

The morning buffet brekky on site was great; proper full english, icy cold milk for cereals, plenty of kettle beverages and toast/croissants. Naturally we loitered to full up before the long day.

Bury abbey ruins hosted us to a little stroll, its 2mins beyond the hotel, despite the season (Jan) the grounds had plenty of critters darting between trees. An avery adjacent to a coffee shop provided a lovely array of colourful birds.

Banging doors making wall and bed shake all night. Freezing cold room and a useless heating system. WiFi utterly shambolic. Got a download speed of 0.3Mb/s. Paid £5 for the premium WiFi for one night and that was only about 2Mb/s. And as its in Britain, the mobile coverage is unsurprisingly none existent inside the room so WiFi is critical. Will never go back! Avoid at all costs!
