Travelodge Mansfield Town Centre

A new Travelodge still in great condition. Also very clean with friendly and helpful staff during our stay. Showers seem much more powerful than in some older lodges. Air conditioning worked well although I still prefer to be able to open windows for a bit of fresh air from time to time. No food on site, but plenty of places a short walk away.

Stayed at Travelodge Mansfield Town for couple of nights as I was attending a wedding. Found room etc very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was extra & collected from Reception. I found it value for money & very enjoyable. Think there was 3 Receptionists all of them polite & helpful. Even when I was enquired about a cemetery. Not sure of name with vague idea where it was. All in all a good experience & would recommend

Nice new hotel. Decent size car park. Semi attentive staff. Need to get on top of room maintenance. Soap dispenser in bath not working. Light above bed half dead. When curtains back no privacy. Could do with some privacy film on the windows. Net curtains would look awful.

Hotel still new and very comfy. Shame there isn't a restaurant tho. Will come again as local cafe Capo serves great food. Both places good.

I was told a refund would be done immediately - which takes 3-5 business days once submitted - but after a week I called back. I was told to give it one more day, as it had been done. If not, call back the next morning and speak to the supervisor. So, I did just that.

I was told by the "supervisor" that she would check and send me an email, as I was abroad. I never received the email, so I called back to find out they had never submitted the refund, and the woman on staff, who clearly isn't held accountable for not putting the refund through a week ago told me she never had my card details, even though you have to book via their personal website. What's more interesting is that I was never given an apology by the "supervisor" for not sending the email forcing me to ring again from abroad, and then not bothering to even come to the phone to talk to me. Only reason for the extra star is that at least I got the refund, but only because of my personal effort, and not their own sense of responsibility towards their job.

This is by far the nicest Travel Lodge I have stayed in. 10 mins walk from the train station 5 mins walk from main town centre. Its a new build, very clean and tidy. It also has a really good size car park.

On arrival I was greeted by Megan, she was very friendly and polite, explaining everything I needed to know as this was my first stay here. I was provided with a clean iron and Megan offered to bring an ironing board to my room.

I was very impressed with the size of the room, it was very clean.

I had plenty of tea, coffee milk etc...

The next morning I received my breakfast to go and extra tea from another staff member Brittina, she was very polite and friendly, so a big shout out for having amazing staff, they made my stay here very enjoyable and welcome, amazing customer service.

I will be using this place again for sure, big thumbs up from me

Nice new modern travelodge great location. Value for money and security great. Room was clean, comfy, modern and big. Nice Travelodge

A bit hard to find round the one way system needs a sign at bottom of hill. Very clean and tidy hotel friendly staff and good parking will come back.
