Premier Inn Tamworth Central hotel

It was unfortunate that I arrived during a heatwave, but the reality is that the hotel had no air conditioning, there was no ventilation in the corridors so they were stifling and the rooms had little ventilation due to restrictors being fitted that allowed just 2 inches of opening - totally inadequate. They did provide fans but all they do is blow hot air around the room. On top of this, there wasn't any default housekeeping, you were expected to request it, but they neglected to let me know this when I checked in. It wasn't a pleasant or relaxing stay topped off by inadequate tv coverage.

The water flow in the bathroom was very poor. My daughter couldn't wash her long hair for fear she wouldn't get the shampoo out.
The rooms were absolutely boiling 29 degrees at night very uncomfortable. Definitely won't be returning.

Rooms and location were good and rooms were comfortable. Restaurant was shocking, constant dirty sticky tables, food luke warm, time waiting for food was too long, traffic of staff going in and out of kitchen who weren't kitchen staff un hygienic, toilets out of order 3 days, hot breakfast 20 mins late when booked as we had an appointment to get to. Restaurant needs some serious attention

Stayed on several occasions for the one night, usually when attending the caravan show at the NEC. The rooms have always been clean and tidy with all the usual facilities. Had requested an upstairs room away from the road at time of booking and this was fulfilled on checking in by the friendly staff on reception.

They let us in a little before the arrival time, which was lovely. Room was decent sized and bed comfy. Clean room. Only thing is that they give you a kettle and tea, coffee but only enough milk for for one cup. Would be nice if they could stretch for more than that. In other news there were 18 cowboys in the lobby ready to rut. Quite a sight.

The thing we like about premier inn is you know what you're getting, and this hotel is no different. Perfect location for Thomasland/Drayton Manor and also a great location in terms of shops/food outlets. Staff were very friendly when we stayed.

Standard premier inn, clean and tidy as you would expect Beefeater attached, bigger tv in room but no usb charging ports

Stayed here over night on a visit to the National Aboretum which is about a 20 minute drive away, Premier Inn standards, ideal for what we needed, eatery for your meals just next door, good idea to book as it gets busy, excellent, really enjoyed our stay.
