Wonderful visit. Food only.
Great selection. Service brilliant from the second we entered.
Starters superb, goats cheese donut in beetroot sugar... deliciously light and fluffy, melted goats cheese and the most amazing outer. They disappeared quick.
Lamb for myself, cooked perfectly, a small jug of jus that was seasoned and reduced to perfection. Partner had the "kebab", which actually was a delightful mix of food. Delicious sweets....
All in all highly recommended.

Been here a few times when visiting family who live locally, it is without doubt one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten in, and we live in London! Beautiful food, service and superb cocktails. Highly recommend to anyone! The staff are INCREDIBLE!!!

We held our wedding reception at The Crown and it was utterly perfect! It’s the perfect venue for a special occasion. The food and wine amazing, staff are incredibly helpful (especially Gerry & Fiona!!!). Look forward to many happy meals here in the future!

Disappointing meal!
Tasteless food. Cant believe they have 3 rosettes, unless it wasn't the chef cooking tonight. We were so looking forward to our meal and the menu and reviews looked promising.....dont be fooled.
I wish I could have left a better review but unfortunately we were very disappointed. We won't be going back.
Below average cooking

We celebrated my wife’s special birthday here in the Ingram Room. The whole process leading up to it was made so easy by Fiona at reception.
The evening meal we had was superb, everyone spoke highly about the standard of cooking and service. My wife and I stayed the night and the room was magnificent. Whether you look for somewhere to stay or for somewhere to eat, I would recommend the Bildeston Crown to everyone, any time. If you want to feel special, visit The Crown in Bildeston.

This is a quiet local pub in the heart of a sleepy village. Parking was not great but access from the main Street was good.

Wheelchair access may be limited as a small step is located at the front door and some of the internal doorways are very tight.

The atmosphere inside was relaxing and friendly and the staff were all friendly. Food was excellent and it was an enjoyable evening.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area...

Sunday Lunch £25 for main course, very disappointing, over priced, a few veg, half a carrot, 2 bits of,leek, half parsnip, 4 peas, 3 potatoes !!expected more for the price was simply nothing special. Wouldn't recommend and won't visit again

Superb Saturday night dinner. The restaurant was full, but the food and service were exemplary. The staff were attentive, professional yet friendly. Very highly recommended.
