The Bear Wareham

We had a three night stay this last weekend, arriving Friday 22nd July 2022. Our room was a delight; very comfortable bed with
the most amazing thick, soft towels in the shower room! Luxury!
But the best thing was the staff. All staff. Every single one. So polite, so friendly, so professional.

We had some lunch after a lovely walk. Very nice. The roast wasn't too much like it can be sometimes but the quality was great, lovely roast pork and potatoes. And the cheesecake for desert was amazing. All presented very well and the staff were great too. Overall pleasant experience. Thanks.

Just popped in for a coffee so can't comment on accommodation or food. Hence only 4 stars at present.
However. Really good friendly service. Bar and table/seating areas are lovely. Toilets immaculate. Menu looked good. Plus damn fine coffee!

Good to see The Bear has been rescued from the sad neglected place it was for a few years. Now fresh looking, obviously loved & presenting really good food + cakes....! And its got a bar at the front if you fancy a real drink. Make sure to check out the gdn if the weather is good.

We come for coffee, lunch and dinners and always a warm welcome. Very accommodating with the kids and always served quickly. Also have a decent selection of cakes and gluten free options.

The perfect country pub. Fantastic food, tastefully done, huge room with a huge comfy bed and high quality bedding… faultless. Oh and the lovely staff held the kitchen for us because our train was delayed. Well done the bear.

Great location for a coffee or meal. A variety of different settings within the building providing choice. Coffee is great, limited menu but superb quality. Highly recommended.

The girls looking after the bar were great and the chef cooked up a real treat. Quality food worthy of a top hotel.
