The decor and design of the hotel is lovely, making it have a chic feel. However, on most occasions the main purpose of a hotel stay is to sleep - something I was unable to do because of the quality of the mattress (bed)!

This stay was part of a celebration and I was included in a party of 8. The majority of my party said the exact same thing - how awful their sleep was.

So much so that I went down to reception at 3:30am to ask if they had any better quality beds in different rooms. Unfortunately, I was informed that all their beds were the same.

Many of the reviews on here say the exact same thing - the mattresses are like sleeping on concrete and this couldn't be more accurate! I tell no lie when I say that my back the following morning was in pain and continued to be for a few days after the stay.

Based upon the purpose of staying at this hotel to sleep, this is something I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend to ANYONE and of course, I will never return.

I have rated my stay as only “okay” for the following reasons.
Positives:
The staff are polite ate friendly. The location is good, being close to the M1 Jn 27 (That's pretty much it)!
Negatives:
My wife and I upgraded to the executive suite. Sounds very grand doesn't it? Not in the least. I wish we had saved our money and stayed in a standard suite. If you have a long stay (we stayed 14 nights) then you have to ask for your room to be made up each day otherwise they won’t. We got told this by reception when we asked why our bed had not been made for 2 days.
There's no bar fridge. There’s no safe. There’s a step down from the shower that if you tackle with wet feet you can slip over from.
The bed mattress feels like it’s 20 years old. Every time I moved or got in or out of it, I could hear the springs twanging. I could also feel the springs every time I got in or out of bed.

The breakfast is expensive if you’re a light eater. £16.95 no matter what you eat. Bacon and toast or a bowel of cereal is the same price as a full English. So have the full English, I hear you say. Not everyone can stomach a large breakfast.
All in all an okay stay but if I could find a hotel within the vicinity then I’d be looking at that next time.

We had a Sunday over- night stay with our dog with us. The receptionist wasn't at all welcoming. The room and bathroom were basic and clean and good value for the location. The window wouldn't close, which didn't matter as it was a hot night. There was a strong smell of cannabis in the corridors that we noticed. Breakfast was extra, and self service. We were one of the first down for an early brekky at 6 30am as we had to be on our way. The food was rubbery and lukewarm coffee, put me off. I tried it, and then saved my bacon for our dog's breakfast! Breakfast there was to say the least disappointing. The hotel seems to cater for a lot of coach parties, ...so you can probably guess the standard.

Rooms were clean but looking tired, shower placement is fixed and inconvenient.

Breakfast was disappointing primarily due to food quality, sausages with thick skins and more rind than bacon. Anything non-cooked was far better and is what I would stick to in future, however their is a cafe with parking minutes away that I would recommend a visit to for their breakfast-fruit dish.

The staff appear caring but clearly aren't liking their jobs which especially comes across at the bar in the evening.

I would not stay here again as there are other competitors nearby that offer better service at the same price and are more wallet friendly year round. However, the grounds are well kept and would be perfect for an afternoon/evening in the sun for retired individuals.

I checked in late and checked out early but for the time I was there it was very pleasant. The Interior was delightful, the room was lovely (no plug at the bed... number 1 annoyance) free open air parking (I had a Luton van). There was quite a rowdy party when I was there but it didn't bother me. Nice hotel 👌🏻

My husband and I had car trouble while travelling to London, and stumbled upon the Mour Hotel unplanned. We received exceptional service from the bar staff with multiple refills of water for the engine and then from Daniel in reception who made sure we had a room for the night and toothbrushes! Even the bar manager was very helpful on how we could complete our journey home the next day! Next time we’ll be sure to make a planned visit to the hotel to enjoy its services. Thank you to all the staff who were very friendly and helpful - an asset to the establishment.

Exceptional service from the moment you walk in. The restaurant was also amazing. One of the best steak meals I've ever had. It was a tad pricey, but was so well cooked and presented. Top marks. I'd certainly visit again!👍

OK so, for the staff 100% friendly welcoming great hosts, the entrance is fantastic lovely decorated with very smart appearance with lovely Christmas decorations. 2 lifts and 2 door cards 1 for the power switch and 1 one for your persons entrance. Very good.

Appearance of the room at glance is perfect looks really comfortable with a fold down dresser table with mirror.

But not that impressed for 4 stars, lighting has been upgraded from halogen to LED and most of the fittings are not compatible to a point where the bedside lamp is very dim and the ceilings have gaps around the downlights where the plaster is missing which looks really tacky.

The shower although looks nice from the outside, has rust on the spout so it pours rather than showers. And being careful when coming out of the shower is a big step down to the floor level and the only thing close is a very hot towel rail to grab hold of should you slip.
This really needs improvement for safety of any guest.

The carpet in the corridor is nicer than the carpet in the room I'm going to leave that there for others to decide on their thoughts.

And I will say you are on an commercial estate so don't expect great views. I will say this they have a brilliant car park and as you can see in my pictures a good amount of room for my travelling companions who like I love to watch TV in bed. TV could be a bit bigger that's on personal opinion.

And the most important to me was the bed and this part is not good, if you have a back like a plank of wood then that's perfect, me personally I love a softer mattress where it allows give for the curves of a gentleman's body to lay and get a good night's kip. Fortunately for me I brang my ponies with me so the plushies helped me a bit. Hence why I didn't stay the 2nd night and aborted my stay early, this made me more wanting my own bed and racing back home the same day.

Oh and don't take your phone to bed either there's only one socket and that's on the dresser table.

Now for the amount of money you can stay at Premier Inn for less than £130 and you get breakfast. This place is twice the amount, you get no breakfast and you could even be charged £10 for checking out early for me this is not good!
And I have been to lots of hotels, for example an extra £40 will get you free parking, a fabulous room, a concierge, breakfast and a room overlooking Kensington Palace in London City!

Iv never put a bad review but this my first ever and frankly I will not be going back nor will I recommend anyone going there.
