The staff were very professional, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent, cooked freshly, which is a real bonus. Parking was good, access was good, and its location was spot on. My wife and I felt the rooms, or room we had was in desperate need for a refit. Tired curtains, carpet and although the beds were comfortable they were definitely nearing there end. The rooms were very clean as was the whole hotel. Another downside was the price for the rooms. Had it been under £100 per night we would have stayed for a few more days. Me thinks they are missing a trick here! We will be back but only if the prices are a little more reasonable. Overall it is a nice place to stay. DJG.

Deserves five stars but unfortunately the restaurant service is poor. The food when it came after one hour was fine. No hot buffet for breakfast each item had to be ordered not good if you have to leave for an appointment. Rooms clean and well maintained, the staff are in the main friendly but certainly not all. A great location

I’m really impressed with this premier inn. Great location, just a mile outside of Thirsk centre. It’s nice and quiet. The staff are nice and helpful. (Especially Amelia, friendly yet professional. After booking me in, she went out of her way to arrange for me to have my meal at a decent time after a 3 hour drive up to Thirsk). She’s a star.
The food in the Thyme restaurant is great. I stayed here for a week and enjoyed every meal that I had. The steak and the chicken curry especially were fantastic. The restaurant is nice and light with lots of windows. They have a beer garden outside. The rooms are great. My only criticism (constructive) was that I had to wait quite a while (up to an hour) at different points throughout the week for my evening meal. I know they were short staffed in the kitchen but they could of just warned customers that the food would take longer than usual for that reason. Much better to inform us than keeping us in the dark. Otherwise, great job. I’d definitely stay here again.

I needed a place to stay at short notice. Booking me in took ages. I was then charged £110 for a disabled room that didn't have a shower. I had to stand in the bath under the shower feeling very unsafe. I was booked in for 2am leaving before the next day or you you had to pay extra for breakfast. The only good thing about this visit was the staff member who booked me in.

Great place to overnight on a trip from the north of Scotland to the south of England. Rooms and bed up to premier inns' high standard. Didn't eat at the restaurant but everything about the room and price was fine.

Typical Premier Inn. Clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable but a little basic. Friendly, helpful staff. There's adequate parking and supermarkets nearby. It's a bit of a walk to the town centre

We stayed in Christmas day visiting family, had a very pleasant Christmas card in the room with a nice pack of cookies, this was a very nice touch. Hotel very clean, friendly staff, very welcoming, would stay again. Og and a 5* breakfast..
