Travelodge Wellingborough Rushden

A good hotel, clean, the bed was big and comfortable, the shower jet powerful, the lady as the entrance kind and helpful. We had a very low price as well. Perfect if you want a comfortable night without spending much at all on the hotel.

This is a good basic accommodation, no frills. Kettle in each room with limited tea/coffee so I take my own. No power sockets adjacent to bed head but they lent me an extension lead for my medical equipment.

Convenient for Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre only a few minutes walk away.

Excellent reception staff member. Excellent clean room. My room was at the back, so quiet and dark. Reasonable sized car park with extra spaces near the closed American Dinner for bigger vehicles. Retail park nearby and BP fuel station with a shop, open 24hrs.

Cheap hotel in a good location for shopping, lost of restaurants at a 5 min walk. Only 1 pub in the area. The hotel is clean and tidy and rooms are reasonable size with everything you need. The only downfall was the heat. The hotel rooms are a uncomfortable temperature. No air con in the rooms. Fan is provided but it isnt enough to cool the room. I was there for business. Would stay again.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this travelodge, but I can recommend the location. It's near the Rushden Lakes Shopping area. Nice restaurants and a cineworld with Imax and Screen X. The hotel was a little tired but it had what we needed. It didn't have aircon, which was sorely missed during the heatwave. We had a fan, but it was up against some stiff competition. They don't clean the rooms every day but if you need anything the staff are very helpful. And there is a petrol station across the way from the hotel. I would be happy to stay here again. Many thanks to the staff.

Customer service at it's finest here. Tracey and Lucy went out of their way to help me and my son. Location is a little bit tricky only accessing from one side of the 'A' road but not too much hassle. Location fab for the shops and restaurants. The little dinosaur restaurant was a great find and made the stay the best for my boy!

We were staying here for a local wedding. Walked into room and one of the lights not working. Tracey said she didn't know how to do repair this but she would leave a note and move us room. As we went down to reception, a lady came through the door. I mentioned to Tracey there was a customer as she was on the computer trying to rearrange rooms for us- Tracey explained it was her colleague Lucy who was leaving for the day to go home and explained what had happened to Lucy. Lucy grabbed the lightbulb and went straight in to fix the bulb. We re able to stay in the same room. Great result for all. Not many people who would help out on their way home. Great staff!

This Travelodge was where I needed to be, clean, welcoming and good value. Not a five star hotel but that wasn't what I was looking for. Did the trick and I'd be happy to stay again.
