Great comfort for a budget price. Stayed in a single en-suite room for £35!! great power shower, comfortable bed, flat screen TV, bit small room but more than enough. Call them for better price than the online price!

Very convenient, cheap, very clean rooms linen and towels, comfy bed, able to park outside for free on Street, supplied coffee tea and kettle Etc (I believe some rooms are self catering). Only slight problem was our shower was a bit too hot and couldn't be adjusted. VERY GOOD VALUE.

If you're a fan of post Chernobyl style decor this place is the place for you. The door numbers go from 48 to 66 to 37 and there's only 5 rooms! I'm new Doctor but I'm certain I've acquired syphilis, septicemia and some type of fungal skin infection from sleeping in the "bed", if you've been chased out of your home by a gang of ruffians then this place might do apart from that I would avoid at all costs.

Simple & cheap, check in was easy, got a card to open both the front door and room. Room was spacious enough, as we ordered a family room, came with a double and a single bed and a bathroom. Furnishings were what I would expect for the price I paid. On check out I just dropped the card in a box on the way out. No problems.

First impression of the hotel from the outside was very nice - the place looked very cosy and warm. When we checked in and made our way up to the room, all I could smell is this unpleasant scent which already made me think this is not a 4 star hotel...
When we got to the room, again I was a little bit disappointed; it was very basic and very smelly too. First thing we did is open the window to let some air into the room. We then spotted some black marks underneath the TV which seem to be candle stains.. this is something I could scrape off with my nails, why didn’t the cleaner do so before we arrived?
Underneath the table, on the wall, there were drink stains where something was clearly spilled; again this should have been easily wiped before our check in.
The socket next to the bed wasn’t working (there were two and neither of those were working) and the toilet wouldn’t flash properly. The bathroom and the shower were so small it was hard to be in there without touching the walls.
We didn't get any sleep, it was impossible! And the reason for it were the beds...or should I say lack of. Instead of the bedframes, we slept on wooden cupboards with a mattress on top. Yes. I said cupboards. Maybe they run out of frames? Nevertheless, the mattress with thickness of 5 inches didn't assure comfortable night's sleep.
In overall, the staff were nice and friendly, but I wouldn’t stay in the hotel again because it didn’t seem as clean as it should have been; as a guest you would expert for your room to be polished and taken care of before your arrival, unfortunately this wasn’t the case at Angel Inn.

don't be fooled by the pictures.. spent one night here and would not stay again. first impressions when walking in the front door was dirty and unloved its a shame as it has the potential to be a lovely place but has no parking facility and don't offer breakfast... not that I would eat there to be honest.. the rooms are very small and you only have room to walk around the bed and the bathrooms are tiny.

The good: - The accomodations are not far from what I expected given the price and pictures online. - Staff are friendly - Wifi works decently - Loved the coffee and tea ammenities in the room
The bad: - Hot water didn't work, and I was in sore need of a shower, so I had to take a freezing bath, which was a terrible end to a very stressful day.
The TERRIBLE: - Bed sheets seemed white and clean, but I'm quite sure it was ridden with BED BUGS, because I went to sleep perfectly fine and woke up all itchy and and with red patches in my skin around what are clearly insect bites. It's been 3 days and i'm still scratching myself as hell.
