Travelodge Ayr

Friendly and helpful staff! Good size family room but the place itself feels very tired. Lots of rust in bathroom. Toilet flush barely working. No A/C and the fan didn't manage to bring the heat down in the room. Big grey stains on the duvet. Not clean under bed. Didn't hear anything from the rooms next door but very noisy from above which woke me up at night.

We stayed for one night while commuting through Prestwick airport. Staff were very helpful and provided a reasonable sized room for our family of four. Room was well presented.

Clean room friendly staff especially Jackie who let me leave BEER in their staff fridge so it would be cold when I got back after work close to pubs only 5mins walk shop's and fast food close by would definitely stay again

Standard travelodge. I do find it funny how the prices have gone up since this place was built despite the rooms looking terribly tired in some places. Eg Carpets and bathrooms.
Clean though and staff seem nice.

The hotel is really easy to find, the parking is plentiful and free.
We arrived quite late but had a lovely welcome from Donna(?) Really smiley and friendly.
The room was huge, very clean and what you expect to find in Travelodge.
All round pleasant stay😊
The hotel is next to some food outlets and ASDA is a 2 minute drive away alongside lots of other shops and fast food outlets

Great night sleep. Room clean. Quite. Tim Hortons 3 minutes walk away. GRO the same distance.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and we were so happy with our experience. We choose this Travelodge because it is dog friendly and wanted a hotel that we could take our wee pooch along for the trip. Finding this hotel is a piece of cake and can be seen from the bypass going around Ayr. It has two coffee shops/restaurants next to it which was handy for our essential morning caffeine fix. Car park is a good size and all free parking which was handy. Even though the hotel was busy parking was never an issue. The main foyer is moder and bright with reception facing you as you enter and some communal seating. We were greeted by such a pleasant male staff member who took us through checkin and couldn’t have been more welcoming to us and our wee dog. We seen him and other staff on a few times on our stay and he and the others were always polite and couldn’t have been better ambassadors for the hotel. The staff here could teach others in the hospitality industry a thing or two about being genuinely polite and helpful. The room was a really good size with built space for hanging clothes and shelves. Standard kit like teas, coffees, kettle etc and nice touch was free hand soap and shower gel. Bed was huge and comfortable and despite being near a main road the room was super quiet. For Boxing Day it was quite busy but never heard a peep from other rooms or communal areas. The shower over the bath was super powerful which we loved with all towels and linen spotlessly clean. If your looking for a hotel near Ayr that offers excellent service, good location, dog friendly and easy parking I’d definitely recommend here.
