Beautiful peaceful location with views of the loch and the sea, includes everything you could possibly need for your stay and all amenities and finishing touches to a super high standard. Very comfortable, clean and perfect for a week on Arran. We stayed as four adults, felt spacious for us all and plenty of storage options for each of us along with space for two cars. Friendly hosts and available for any questions. Lochranza is a great base for exploring the island and I highly recommend staying here for your trip! Many thanks again.

Lochranza is a beautiful spot on Arran, and The Manse is a beautiful house in Lochranza! The house is on the hill looking across the bay - gorgeous sea views from the lounge and both bedrooms. From the house we did some lovely walks in both directions around the coast, also spent time by the water watching the boats and the wildlife. There is a cafe and a hotel with a bar in walking distance. We loved the accommodation - everything is newly decorated (Aug2020), feels fresh and welcoming. The kitchen was so well stocked with pots and pans etc, there was a coffee maker with pods provided. The bathroom lovely and clean with luxury toiletries and really soft towels. The dining area and living areas were both really comfortable. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and then a really big landing which we used as a kids play area! Beds were comfy, rooms spacious, extra towels/pillows/bedding all on offer. Views from the bedrooms were so cool - bring your binoculars! We saw deer and red squirrels from the windows. Outside is a seating area and a brilliant swing set and toys. My daughter had a brilliant time on the slide and swings. What made the trip extra special was the amazing hosts - when our ferry was cancelled I had a text from Ryan (the owner) before I had any communication from the ferry company! When we were able to get over later in the day, Ryan had already offered to pick us up some essentials from the shops as they were closed by the time we got over. We were travelling with a 20 month old and EVERYTHING had been thought of - travel cot, high chair, stroller, toys - ALL PROVIDED! It really felt like nothing would be too much to ask from the hosts and that is just something really special!

This was our second time staying at the Manse Cottage in Lochranza and we were again very impressed with the property. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay and is finished to a very high standard. There is plenty of storage, very comfortable beds and amazing views over the bay (as well as unexpected close up views of the local wildlife!).
We travelled with two wee ones (1 & 3 year old) and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating and provided all the extra bits and pieces required to make our stay extra comfortable! Having the outside play area, some books and toys provided were lovely touches that helped keep them entertained also. The location is an ideal base for exploring Arran and Lochranza is gorgeous and we took advantage of going for lovely walks around the local area. Jenny and Ryan (our hosts) also has lots of suggestions for places to visit, eat etc.
We would definitely recommend this property to stay and hope to return again soon.
