Thought I'd already reviewed this. Good location, looks a wee bit quiet but there are, I would say, about 150 houses and the main road can be pretty busy. The room we had (room-1) had 2 showers, 2 basins in the toilet area. Easy parking and easy access to the surrounding area. Lovely room albeit a little bit small. The restaurant was excellent with what must be, a brilliant chef. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Our first time here. We arrived without a reservation for dinner on Monday evening. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. The two female servers were very friendly. The menu looked great. Started with cheese soufflé and risotto. Both were delicious. Mains were chicken escalope with chorizo mash, green beans and cajun cream - brilliant! Other main was gammon steak which came with a choice of sauces and the other usual trimmings - chips, tomato, mushrooms. Again, it was fab. We didn't have desserts but I would guess they'd be good too. A great little restaurant in Tarbolton. Food was a bit different and would recommend. Worth a wee trip out to it.

Would have done 5star but was disappointed with breakfast after having such a great meal the night before which was Michelin star quality. Breakfast no earl grey tea or alternative offered, no choice of bread for toast only half and half thin cheap bread. No marmalade only jam. Although we had poached and fried eggs they were served on the dry toast, no toast rack. Orange juice was std. Cereals packaged and poor choice of 3. So overall staff friendly but food basic.
