The staff were really lovely and friendly, the hotel is quite basic but it is well priced

I'm only giving 4 star's because they don't have a restaurant. The staff are very friendly . The pillows were very firm, wish I had taken my own. Great value hotel

Excellent as always. Most fantastic staff, Marcelle, Helen, Dawn & Betty. Could not ask for better nothing is too much trouble, so helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Wouldn't stay again. The room wasn't clean, carpet was stained with lots of animal hair. Even after a lady came to hoover it, it looked the same. The shower gel dispenser in a bathroom didn't work either. This was the worst Travelodge I have stayed at.

Comfortable beds, warm clean rooms (carpet could do with a freshen up), lovely staff at reception. Breakfast box available to purchase on booking contained juice, cornflakes, milk,a small pastry and cereal bar. Nothing gluten free but there is an m&s food shop and a Costa across the road with gf sandwiches.

On my 1st of 2 nights (11 /11/2022) I was awoken at just after 4 in the morning by what sounded like a generator within the hotel operating. Lasted for about an hour but began again around 7. Spoilt what was a nice room.

Got here at around 6pm, got into our rooms, my room was quite big and warm, opened the window and it was great, ate the food I had brought with me, sunk a few drinks, watched Emmerdale and Gone in sixty seconds, went to sleep with the soothing sounds of the M90 and woke up fully refreshed and ready for a long trip back to Cumbria

There was dead and alive bugs in the room, the table had crumbs on it and was dusty around the edges, the shelving where the towels are was very dusty and had spider webs / cobwebs.
We asked to be moved and the older lady on night shift on reception offered to make up a new room for us, we walked into the room and there was also bugs in there, the bugs were also in the hallways of the hotel as well as huge spiderwebs they must have some sort of infestation. The bedding was dirty on arrival obviously hadn’t been checked over or cleaned properly in the first place. AVOID!!
