Penrhos Arms Hotel

Positive: Nice pub, clean rooms, great food but it’s the attitude of all the staff that makes this place fantastic. We’ve stayed in 5stsr hotels and not felt so welcome. Loved it and will be back 🙂 thanks to Rhys and Shirley for everything. Negative: It’s not a boutique hotel with arty decor but it was warm clean and comfy, with tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, there was nothing we didn’t like.

Staff here go well out of their way to make your stay as good as possible. I had been biking all day in the mud and rain and they washed and dried my gear ready for the next day. Food was really nice and for the price the room was bang on. 100% will be choosing Penrhos Arms next time Im in the area riding

We stayed in the family room, which is a large room. The shower is very good. There is only 1 chair to sit, which is a bit strange for a family room. The wifi is bad and often does not work. Breakfast is basic, no cereals, only full breakfast or eggs. We also had dinner there once, but the food was just ok, nothing special. Besides that, we had to wait very long for dinner. Tables were also sticky.
When the weather allows it, you can have breakfast in the garden, this is quite nice. We asked to have breakfast at 8, but then the door was still locked. They open breakfast somewhere between 8:10 and 8:30, you should not be in a hurry.

Have been visiting for about 7 years for drinks and food. Lovely people and great food.
