Palé Hall Hotel 5 star hotel

Just spent the last 2 days there and what can I say, It was simply brilliant. The staff were kind and attentive when we arrived, when ever we went down for a meal nothing was to much for them. The room it’s self was stunning, the view we had was amazing looking over the front garden. The food was delicious can’t say anymore as it was that good! We enjoyed it that much we’ve already booked for next year and can’t wait to get back there.

We were made very welcome by everyone, nothing was too much trouble for them. We even the gardener took time out to take our group photo.

I regret to say that the restaurant is not meeting the expectations at all. The wine comes only when the starters are already on the table, dishes are too cold and the staff is not on their toes. Our breakfast order seemed to be forgotten and we were left without food for more than 30 minutes.
Even with the best explanations and excuses: We would not recommend this hotel.

A perplexing experience that I'm sure was a one off. I could list out every issue here but I believe there is a cultural management issue so this will likely be ignored (I also believe most of the issues should have been dealt in person when they were raised). Olive & Nicholas were fantastic. However Jan & Debbie specifically - did not address any issue head on. Beautiful hotel & grounds and I'm sure most people have an amazing experience. The restaurant - do avoid. I unfortunately could not recommend this hotel - not because of the issues (which naturally do occur) but the lack of care by management to resolve.

Something is seriously wrong behind the scenes at Pale Hall. As a Relais et Chateaux and Pride of Britain hotel you’d expect 5* luxury. Our room was not cleaned properly and finding rubbish in the bins is a basic issue in any hotel.
The food was at best average and the tables were lit with multi coloured battery operated lights which lacked refinement. Certainly won’t return and would not recommend to friends.

Excellent. I took my fiance out for a celebration. We had the 11 course tasting menu which was delicious. The staff were professional, attentive, knowledgeable, overall fantastic.

We spent the last night of our North Wales honeymoon at Pale Hall and it was very special. We were welcomed with some fizz whilst the staff checked us in - the most stress-free check in ever. We stayed in the Llangollen room which was beautifully furnished and very comfortable - the staff surprised us with some treats in the room for our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. We did the 8 course tasting menu and accompanying wine flight which was wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back!

I recently stayed at Pale Hall and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The service was impeccable with staff going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, and the location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to local attractions. The hotel room was excellent and well-appointed, providing the perfect space to relax and unwind. I would like to give a special mention to Paul, who was a fantastic member of the staff and provided exceptional service during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend Pale Hall for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience."
