Had a lovely stay here the night before our Cave Zip line experience. Rhyland the desk clerk was such a friendly character, doubling as a barman too. Nothing was too much trouble ☺️👍🏼.
The rooms were very clean and had beautiful furniture. The single beds were comfortable enough for one night and the shower room was very clean. The tv signal was occasionally a little dubious but the weather was wet with plenty of wind. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful...Morning breakfast was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of staff on hand if anything was needed. Although checkout was 10am there was no rushing or knocking at the door at 9.55 to hurry us along like some places. We would definitely stay here again.

Worst experience ever. Hotel cancelled our stay 30th of December, day before our stay. Hotel played Covid card, we were assured that hotel was shut due to shortage of staff.
When we asked for some kind of moral compensation and discount for next stay- hotel just ignored us and never came back.

Had a lovely 3 night stay here.
Staff are brilliant. The hotel is very clean well maintained and nicely refurbished.
Room 3 with dual aspect windows was nice with lovely views. A small television with limited channels and a tiny basin in an otherwise good bathroom were the only minus points. Having to fill the kettle in the bath was a bit quirky and awkward!
Didn't have breakfasts so can't comment. Had one (pub style) dinner in the bar which was okay and fair value.

Had a Sunday Carvery here earlier today and it was absolutely delicious. The Chef smashed it. The place is in a beautiful location overlooking the valley and mountains, and has a fresh modern feel about the place albeit they've managed to retain a lot of character and period charm about the place. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the place is kept very clean. On my top 10 of places to eat in the area.

I stayed here with friends back in 2017 - we were the only guests in the hotel and arrived quite late in the evening and the staff were lovely. The room we had spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - better than I could have imagined hashbrows, eggs, veggie sausages..... the location is picturesque with many beauty spots within easy reach.
I plan to go back with my family- fond memories!

Ordered some stake and fish and chips, fish was okay but £22 for stake it wasn't very good for price.
As for customer service it was great and friendly staff.
We had 2 rooms one with bath only and no shower and other room had full disabled bathroom not very appropriate for hotel.
I have stayed in over 100 hotel with 3 / 4 / 5 star rating in 2021 and Gwesty Seren beds are the worse beds ever.
I have never ever experience anything like this, I can confirm this is not suitable for human use. I honestly don't think it deserves 3 stars.
