Had a 2 day break at Nant Ddu. Room very clean and very comfortable but little dated. I ate in the dining room on both evenings and found the menu extensive and the meals I had were excellent.
I feel however, that the strength of the hotel is the staff. A wonderful lady on reception was the epitome of patience as she catered for my every request! The staff in the dining room could not have been more friendly and professional. I also had the opportunity to find the staff in the leisure facilities and the treatments area equally worked to the very highest standards.
It was quite delightful to spend a few days here and to experience service at its absolute best.
I would have given it 5 stars but some areas were somewhat dated - but this in no way detracted from the overall pleasure of the visit.

Lovely grounds, nice places to eat and drink both inside and outside. Food was nice, deserts very nice. Good value. Two course and a drink £24.00. Seems like they have a lot of regular customers as the staff seemed to know customers names. Very friendly staff

Massage was amazing! Food was very tasty. Great service.
Changing rooms are looking a bit tired, could do with a refurbishment. Disappointed that the hot tub was out of use but it didn't spoil our relaxing day.

Couldn't speak highly enough of the staff. They were wonderful and very attentive. The food was lovely and portions were huge!
However our rooms were extremely disappointing. We stayed in what could only be described as the outhouse, freezing corridor which was outside, rooms were smelling of damp and very dated and basic. There was evidence of black patches of damp on the walls. They were clean but very disappointing for the money paid. It was an 80th birthday treat for my mother so I was expecting the rooms shown on the website. Gutting 😪

Lovely place! Reasonably priced and in the centre of everything we wanted to see (Pen Y Fan and the 4 Waterfalls etc) nice quiet area and staff are kind and friendly. Always remember to book dinner and brekkie!!!! Spa is lovely and a real treat after long walks/hikes etc. Will visit again in 2023!!

Had a lovely meal and catchup with some friends at Nant Ddu last evening!! It's somewhere we visit for this occasion 3 times a year. The log fire in the bar was a welcome sight as it was so cold. The service from the young man behind the bar was excellent. Such a friendly person who looked after us really well and when I said I was disappointed that I couldn't have the curry from the daytime menu he said I could!! The food was great as usual and the rice pudding with plums was delicious. Will look forward to our next meeting at this lovely place 😊

Food was nice, plenty of room to park and a nice pool.
Room I wasn't happy with.
I upgraded to a junior suite and for the money I paid I could of stayed in a 5 star hotel. The carpet as you entered was shabby, tape around the edge of the carpet and mold in the grout in the bathroom. Light in lounge area didn't work. If I paying this money I want the room up to standard. I've emailed the manager twice and no reply, so now I will publish my stay as you've had time to answer.
Very disappointing and won't stay again.

We had a very nice overnight stay. We stayed in the executive suite, bed was comfy & suite was quite pleasant. It is abit dated but we enjoyed ourselves, spa was lovely, big pool, great sauna & steam room. Food was fantastic, We were very impressed & we would use Nant Ddu Lodge again.
