Situated in a beautiful small town, this hotel was a very cute place to stay. The staff couldn't be more welcoming to us, and even prepared a table for us every morning for breakfast. Their meals are home cooked best I can tell, and they still have a decent menu. Despite some old and creaky floors, I absolutely loved my time here. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was fantastic. Decent portiin sizes and great flavours. A1
The only cloud on the horizon is its a bit run down. With a spruce up it would be even more amazing.
Staff were lovely and service was good.

Ate there this evening (not starting at the hotel). Good food, good beer, staff were really friendly. Don’t be fooled by the slightly tired look of the place !

A beautiful part of Wales, with the nicest people, a warm friendly welcome with a great breakfast, a welcome drink.

The hotel is a bit dated but what you expect for the price in the area. But mainly it is friendly and great location. For some reason foreigners reviews are really bad. But for the price we pay which is cheap they think it's expensive and expect the Savoy in London.

We were visiting Bala Lake on Saturday 29/10/22 and were looking for somewhere to eat but having a dog we thought we would struggle, but the website does not do this place justice the food was excellent and the staff and the owners of this place payed attention to detail the food was hot and plenty full and they even allow dogs to which I will say they were lovely with in and we were able to order a burger for him without the bun. Yes the place could do with a lick of paint but then it would lose its charm we will certainly be back for the food especially the gammon with melted cheese wow wow.

Friendly team excellent food. Our room had a faulty bed (broken spring) in matrass They were unable to solve while we were there. It did keep waking us up during the night.

We were a little late for lunch at most places, but 12 of us were accommodated here. We enjoyed the option of 4 pint jugs of beer/cider.
People ordered a selection of food. The nachos were very impressive. I had a delicious beef pie.
