Food was disgusting and barely warm. Meat was dry and inedible. Turkey was the worse which my husband had. Lamb was shredded and so awful. Vegetables were really bad, roast potatoes black and burnt, dont ask what they done to cauliflower cheese.as just a load of slop. A pint of John Smith's beer needs seriously looking at as tainted and undrinkable 4 pounds 50. It was so bad.. 25 pounds could have gone to something worth having for meal. Leave this venue well alone. Dreadful

Afternoon tea supposedly more like children's tea party all shop bought cakes no scones offered, had to ask for meat sandwich as two were vegetarians only cheese sandwiches given poor isn't bad enough. The owner wasn't interested keep calling the chef why we don't know a child could have provided what they gave us, no decaffeinated coffee or tea I could go on. They had the cheek to charge nine pounds for coffee and sandwich

Just had a spot of lunch here today. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. The staff were very helpful and polite. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and the lady even asked if we wanted water for the dog. So kind. We sat outside with the most amazing view of the river and the valley. Thank you for such a warm welcome.

Went there in august .The table linen was dirty and so where the windows . The food was cheap tasting but at extremely high prices and the decor look liked it was a cheap knock off an awards ceremony, with 6ft tall, dusty silver Oscar statues and many other tacky silver objects , totally at odds with the rustic , inviting and cosy pub feel of the front entrance . The oddest restaurant experience I have ever had .

Sadly disappointed. When we arrived they were playing very loud music, turned out to be the local radio, so we we're listening to adverts and loud crass music throughout our meal. Firstly, they told us we had booked for an hour later than we actually had. Then got both our drinks orders wrong. No wine list, the menu is pub grub, but very pricey. The view is stunning, however the windows are grubby and marked with fingerprints. We were not offered any drink top ups and our glasses were empty from the middle of our starters until we left. Begrudged paying £50 for 2 courses, a small coke, and a 175ml glass of poor quality wine. Will not be returning.
