Stayed with 2 grandchildren midweek half term 2022.
Hotel dated but very clean!
All staff made a big effort to talk to the children (although there were few children staying.)Complimentary scones and drinks given on arrival, really nice touch and very welcoming.
Breakfast very good choice, although we did not have evening meal other guests said it was very good.

Another wonderful stay at St Kilda. The staff cannot do enough for you to ensure you feel special. Our room had fantastic sea views. Breakfasts, lunches and evening meals were all perfect. Thanks to everyone for another great stay.

The single room 338 I would of given a 5 but shower power poor and shower holder broken..the room was very clean and the bed comfy. Perfect nearly . Definitely recommend. Staff very helpful and polite. Bar area and restaurant area very clean. Breakfast was fine just a little dry as if prepared an hour before and under hot plate. But wouldn't stop me booking again. Fabulous location seafront.

Just returned from an excellent week's stay. The staff are always helpful and friendly but Lara is an asset to your hotel and always makes sure things are carried out promptly and to a high standard. Was great to be able to hire a mobility scooter. The meals were delicious and there was a varied choice each day.

Lovely hotel, staff very stretched, as due to staff being off sick,so staff were doing 12 hr shifts to accommodate the guests. Food was fantastic. Lovely and clean.decor is not up todate, but building is victorian.

Just returned from our 2nd weekend break, Violetta in the commodore dining area was attentive and serene in her service, made dining there a lovely experience. Hang onto your chef, Haddock and sauce! perfection, as all the food cooked as it should be. Gastromic delight.

The hotel has very recently changed hands, and the rooms are due for (and need) refurbishing, but the present price is great even given the present condition of the rooms, making our stay very good value.
The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom was great.
We had a view of the sea and could look left and right down the promenade.
Our breakfast could not be faulted.

It's sad to say that this beautiful building is going to be closed to be renovated and hope it doesn't go to upmarket. My stay was good food wonderful. But bathrooms and showers are all need of refurbishment. Good luck to staff in there future employment.
