Staff were great especially Victoria who couldn't do enough for us. Having its own Car park was very useful as there was very little parking in the town. Our Room needed refurbishing but had an excellent sea view. Bathroom mirror was too high as we are under 5' 6". We did have our own personal seagull guard on our outer windowsill! We will return and have a different room next time.

Friendly staff throughout, nice breakfast, very clean and comfortable hotel. Enjoyed our stay of 4nights. Bonus is a free private car park. Only concern was a very bad rust spot in the bath but it didn’t deter us from showering, lovely hot water and bathroom was always clean. A big thank you to all the breakfast staff for their efficiency and sense of humor, we felt very looked after and nothing was to much trouble. We will be back. 🌞

We went on 21st August 2022 for the 2nd time had a wonderful time. The hotel is fabulous the staff amazing nothing is too much trouble. Food amazing and plentiful spotlessly clean rooms. A special thank you to David & Jamie for making our evenings fun. Would highly recommend the Kensington.

Booked a weekend here the draw was a car park the room was very small double the bed was very hard the shower room was lovely very clean towels lovely and fluffy but a really big but you are not allowed to take wheelchairs or walkers into any lifts big notice on the way in from the carpark so the carpark is on floor -1 so the lift tells you so a really big big letdown for us so if you have any walking aids please think again about booking this hotel 3stars as well !! Needless to say that we will not be back .

Service/staff/Breakfast was great. Plugs on odd places. Dust in the furniture and well a giant seagull splat on the only window in the room that was facing the car park.

My only criticism is that it was too hot in the hotel. Staff were brilliant genuinely trying to be helpful and friendly. One waiter just needs to be reminded, he does not pass food across guests. Food was plentiful and good choices. I would find it hard for anyone to moan at anything. Great view of sea front, if you can is best. Rooms were cleaned without any hassle

Room facing a building site noisey no sound deadening to the room could hear everyones conversation on the landing the door must have been made of paper damp patch on the wall in the room not attended too. Just a really poor overpriced hotel lovely lobby but its downhill from there

I run sequence dance holidays here often and every time the hotel has been clean, the food good and the staff helpful. I have been there this Dec 2022 for a Turkey and tinsel holiday and the hotel has been warm dispite the cold weather we have been having. I highly recommend this hotel especially with the lovely dance floor.
