Stopped for late lunch! Steak was amazing and so was the fish. The rain didn't spoil anything and it cleared up enough to view across the bay. Super friendly staff and the whole place immaculately clean. 10/10.

We had a meal here, didn't stay.. Its right on the beach next to the wonderful little church.
You can't book the terrace, but that's the best place to sit for a view. We booked inside the restaurant as its a bit of a trek to get to Aberdaron and not have space for a meal, but there was space in the terrace and they let us move.
A lovely family or romantic venue with a great beach below. Friendly staff.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Had a three night stay which we would have liked to extend but not surprisingly the place was fully booked. Loved the full breakfast

I can best describe our evening meal as an experience! My partner charged ludicrous money for three tiny pieces of battered fish (two prawns & one squid ring) bedded on a plain uneventful salad. My dish was the chicken breast with mozzarella and bacon - the chicken was dry and so was the mash potatoe. All I can say is the cost of living crisis doesn't mean that you charge more yet provide less in terms of quality!!! To add to the general disappointment the staff won't even serve your drinks at the table but ask you to go to the bar. Furthermore we sat at the terrace to enjoy the outdoors and the sound of the sea but the staff closed the windows when it wasn't even cold outside without even asking the customers what we would prefer. By closing the windows we then had small flies buzzing about us. So I can only presume customers who have left good reviews were very lucky, have more money than sense or no taste buds. All in all I wish I had gone to the fish & chip bar around the corner which we did the following day and was delicious and we sat outside in the fresh air without flies buzzing about. Location alone, as beautiful as it may be, doesn't justify poor food and poor service at high prices. In terms of improving your service and quality of food I can honestly say "You need to get a grip". I'm putting this in English because my partner doesn't like to swear in Welsh.

Visited last summer for lunch with two children. Terrace is lovely with a great sea view. Upon entering the restaurant we asked if they served gluten free dishes: "yes there are many options", but really there wasn't that much to choose from, especially when you're a vegetarian. You need to order food and drinks separately, which was a bit strange. Food was OK, not spectacular. Portions were small, prices not so much. Staff was quick but also made us feel like we needed to hurry up to make room for the next guests. Several noisy dogs on the terrace. All in all, not too excited about our (short) lunch visit. Maybe wrong day, wrong time?

Location fantastic, Building great, staff are rude to the point we walked out and went across the road to the small pub facing. and we are so glad we did.
The staff did not know my daughter was behind us when they decided to vent about us coming in for dinner, would not mind but they was not full.

If your not happy dealing with paying guest perhaps a better role for you ???

Anyways pub across the road much much better, staff fantastic, real old worldy feel with very good pub grub, and lots of it.

Been for the 2nd night this week. Although it was fully booked inside and very busy, on both times service was brilliant and the food was great!!! If in the area - definitely worth popping in for a drink and a meal if you have time 😉. Highly recommend 👌

I know its November but I would have expected more places to be open, thankfully this place was. We never had a booking but were seated straight away for lunch.

Service was awesome and the fish was lovely.

A great find.
