Tŷ Mawr Hotel

Stopped for a bite to eat with a large table of 6 and 3 dogs very last minute. Huge garden area and plenty of seating! Very happy with the food, the chips in particular were fantastic !

A good atmosphere and excellent home cooked, pub food. Plenty of gluten free options for my wife. Well worth a visit. Only issue is the tele in the bar was incredibly loud when the motorsport was on, but as soon as it had finished it was low again.

We arrived around 5pm. The bar area and outside seats were quite busy. We were shown to our room and decided to have a cold drink. The room was functional, but unfortunately was over the kitchen and the weather was warm so we could smell the food all night. This wouldn't normally be an issue tho. The food was okay, the breakfast was better.

Great stay at a family run hotel. Our only niggle was the small double room.

We had an amazing meal here! Wish we could have stayed for another pint but our one year old needed to get to bed. Great service, big portions and a lovely setting.

I just stayed here for two nights. Loved it!! Beautiful area to completely unwind. Hotel I thought was excellent. Nice staff, nice comfy room with en suite. I thought the food excellent and the bar too. Not sure why this place is only two stars. Ill be visiting again very soon. Ty

We ate at Ty Mawr for my partner's 40th. She used to visit the Victoria Inn just down the road as a young girl and had found memories of Llanbedr. The Victoria was closed for its annual staff party but a member of staff recommended Ty Mawr. Literally a stone's throw from the Victoria, Ty Mawr comes across as a friendly, family run local business... with a great chef!!! The food was all wholesome home cooked food but absolutely delicious. The waiting staff were quite young but did a great job and we were very fortunate because we had booked in advance for a large table, we ended up having the dining room to ourselves. We would definitely return and would recommend the food to anyone. :-)

Havent stayed here so cant comment on rooms. Decent food, can eat at the bar or in dining room. There is outside seating.
