The Tilman

Fabulous hotel in a great location. The room was well thought out and tastefully decorated with plenty of supplies for a brew! Car parking close by was a bonus and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely stay

Perfect hotel in the perfect location. The best hotel room I’ve stayed in for a very long time! Loved everything about The Tilman. From booking to check-in and check-out, the team were fabulously welcoming and friendly. Prepare yourself for a whopper of a breakfast freshly booked each morning. The bar area is a lovely haven in the daytime and lunch when we arrived was delicious. Parking is a bonus.
The view from our window seat was superb, down towards the sea and of the lovely hills and high street. Little touches make a big difference and the room was well thought out for the best guest experience… excellent tea tray, fab products & make up cloth in the bathroom, good lighting in the bedroom with plugs near mirrors, comfy armchairs for lazy afternoon coffee & books.
We’re already planning our next visit.

Great place. Amazing food. Best people ever !! It’s amazing how friendly and well-meaning people are at this place. Feels like your home away from home. Badmouth has a lot to offer , but, I could come only to stay at The Tilman. Six out of 5 stars !!

Just spent 6 nights here.
What a wonderful hotel, we were in room 10 which is on the 3rd floor and has a great sea view.
The breakfast was awesome, I have full English every day it was that nice, wife had salmon and poached eggs on toast which she really enjoyed!
The bar is also a lovely place to have a few beers, great selection of real ales too.
The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, would highly recommend this hotel 🙂

We didn't stay here but visited several times during our week's holiday. Each time we found the staff to be friendly, the pub clean and tidy and prices reasonable. Dog friendly inside & out, overall a great pub.

Clean decent room in a well located position. Saved a little by booking direct rather than through the big booking sites. We were a little worried that being a pub it might be hard to access rooms late at night but guests have a separate entrance.

Room was clean with good facilities, air con was broken but a stand-alone unit was in the room.

Staff very pleasant and helpful and breakfast, included in the room price, was spot on.

Guests have free parking close by, we were blocked in by a tradesman when leaving but that isn’t the fault of the Tillman.

My only criticism is that next door is an Indian restaurant and the extractor fan for their kitchen was below our window, it was running all night and a bit noisy so we couldn’t leave the window open as we would at home. That said the hotel can’t really help who their neighbours are!

Wound recommend and visit again but next time might ask for a room at the front!

after a hefty amount of hiking I stopped here to refuel and relax. The staff were amazing and the room was super comfortable. In the morning the ladies working were brilliant, super quick with the breakfast.

Location is right on the coast (about 2-3min walk from the fair/beach).

Really lovely place on church Street in Barmouth, nice friendly atmosphere and welcoming, Lovely cocktail bar, Also does rooms which I think if anything downstairs is to go by will be clean, tidy and well kept, Definitely would go again and recommend
